We arrived early at the hotel and we were able to checkin earlier after a short waiting time. The room was lovely and well equipped. The shower was huge and there were tools for a thai bath. The hotel location is calm and the garden is beautiful with water. The restaurant and food were good with a lot of choice. Disappointing was the cold water in the pool. Only 10 minutes walk from the hotel is a vanilla farm, where we made an appointment for a tour.

It was out-dated room a bit but in a good way for me. Something that makes you feel like traveling back in time in Chaing Rai. the GM Eric and all staffs are so kind and friendly. Their hospitality mind just out of the wolrd for this price point. I never had any breakfast with live thai traditional music before and I can see all the attention to details for creating such a nice ambience to the place. Magical ! Thank you for the experience

The Legend is a lovely hotel by the river. The rooms are large charming cottage-style, some with patio and the sound of fountains. The hotel restaurant we chose (there a two) has very good Thai food at reasonable prices. Service is exceptional.

A very restful setting. This hotel takes advantage of the Kok River which flows throughs Chiang Rai. The rooms are in a beautiful garden setting. They are clean, air-conditioned, and well maintained. Staff are delightful. It is a 5 minute ride ~2km from the clock tower in the centre of town. Transport and tours to any location can be arranged from the desk. We would be delighted to stay here again.

We love The Legend - stayed there a few times on our trips to Chiang Rai. The hotel has amazing location on the Kok river. The breakfast buffet is beyond amazing. All the food is special and fresh with local food options. Rooms are spacious with balcony area. All the staff was friendly and professional.
