The rooms could use updates. They have been maintained, but you can tell they are in need of updates. The molding was cracking in the room we stayed in and the carpet was worn. The couch also had some stains on it.

Not bad (and can be better)

Most of the staff are friendly and providing professional service. We stayed here even with free drink and snacks from VIP bar and eco-friendly straws. It's an eco-friendly hotel, they suggest customers to bring your own toiletries and laundry bags, and they provide drinking machines on each floor instead of bottled water. And it's located close to the downtown and the night market. It's good to stay there on weekdays with parking space. I still have some advice for my room and hope this hotel can improve - spring bed quality was too poor, after a night of sleep, the bed was still sunken after we got up for a while; the water pressure of the bath water was unstable, so the water temperature was either extremely hot or extremely cold; the sink drained very slowly, and the basin was very small, so it filled up with water while I was still washing. I'm wondering if some of these problems are caused by the old building. The carpet in the room was dirty and dusty, causing people with allergies to sneeze a lot. Washing machines are provided, but due to limited space, there aren't enough of them available, which is a shame. I've chosen Maison de Chine to stay for vacation with family for many times. I always appreciate their service. I will still love to stay in Maison de Chine.
