Our stay started on a bad note because the directions for accessing the property were not clear. It took 30 minutes to finally figure it out after contacting the host. He wasn't immediately available when we called but we finally got a hold of him. There was a dead rat outside of the building near the entrance and the hallway was dimly lit only from a window at the top of the stairs. This did not make us feel safe. In the evenings, the lights came on in the hallway, which made it better. The worst part is that by day 3 of our 6 night stay we had bites all over our bodies. Turns out, the apartment had bedbugs. My husband found two crawling on him as he sat in the living room and I found one on my clothes. We had to leave to stay in a hotel. I contacted the host to ask for a partial refund to cover the hotel stay. He apologized, said he would call pest control, and would get back to me in 24 hours. He never did, despite me following up and contacting VRBO to intervene.This was a horrible experience. I now have anxiety about staying in other places and bruises from the bites all over my body. I would not recommend this place whatsoever. Despite the stress from dealing with the bedbugs and bites, we had to spend money unexpectedly to stay elsewhere.

Spacious, convenient location

This is a spacious apartment with comfortable beds. The designated parking spot is the best. There aren’t a ton of extras in the apartment, but it gets the job done!

Decent apartment in the city

Did not feel unsafe at all. It was nice to have an off street parking spot. Within walking distance of the CTA red line. Good communication. Only inconvenience was very limited towels/washcloths and no salt/pepper or other seasonings/ condiments

Very clean, well kept. Owners communicated to ensure I was checked in ok. I couldn't be happier and would honestly very much use them again, as well recommend them to anyone. Now there's stairs to climb for you elevators folks, but only two floors up.
