Pro's: nice staff, clean, good location, fun pop art everywhere. Con's: No valet parking! 50$ at a garage. No one to help with luggage. Minimalist room furnishings means no drawers to put away clothes, no place to put luggage, no place to put toiletries in bathroom, a sink the size of an airplane sink (water everywhere.) AND NO PHONE CHARGING STATIONS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE BED?!?!? Only on shelf across the room. 😳

The bed was so uncomfortable that I had to sleep on my pillows. That’s the only negative thing I can say because they excelled in every other aspect. Beautiful property and perfect location to explore the city.
The ironing room because irons aren’t provided in the rooms.

First time solo travel and decided to stay with CitizenM and it was COMPLETELY worth it, in an ideal central location to many of the attractions available around the city and super close to millennium park, loved it and found it easy to navigate around and if you book at a good time the price is reasonable. 10/10 would 100% book again.

First time at CitizenM, and I really liked it. The ipad controls felt a bit confusing to start but I got the hang of it eventually! Staff were superb, so friendly and helpful. Canteen had plenty of choice. I would have appreciated coffee in the room, but also appreciate that might be a Brit thing. Overall I would recommend and will stay again.

I can’t believe the good ratings this hotel gets! Beware, the hotel rooms are super small. It is like you are staying in a cabin on a cruise ship but smaller. It reminded me of a small trailer. You have to climb over your spouse to use the bathroom. The bathroom reminds me of a travel trailer bathroom with the toilet basically touching the shower. If you use the bathroom at night the light wakes up your partner due to the glass bathroom. The air conditioner was leaking water our whole stay and wasn’t cooling the room. You have to control everything with an iPad they provide in the room. I guess they think it is cool but it is a dud! I knew something was off hen they asked me if I have ever stayed at a citizen m hotel and went on to say that got rid of all the stuff you don’t you like the couch or any additional room. To me it is a total greed grab!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The place itself was beautiful, clean and fun. The people were also very kind and helpful. Although the bedroom was small it was perfect for just my friend and I. It felt very comfortable when we wanted to come back and rest from our activities. We loved the bed by the window, the tv, and all the functions that came with the iPad. We were super impressed! I worked in the living room area before bed one night and it was very easy to work because it was quiet and cozy. I also loved getting a chance to use the “Ironing Heaven” room on our floor. Never had anything like this at other hotels. Overall experience was great!
The lobby area was very comfy and I lived the fun and interesting decor!
I love the bed by the window. It was easy to connect my phone to the tv. The iPad functions were amazing!
My work area before bed was great! Some light work before getting to sleep.
My view from the bed every morning was fantastic!
