The self-check-in was pretty convenient. The room was clean, the bed firm but comfortable, and the pillows amazing. When I tried to call down to ask a question, no one answered, multiple times. The bathroom was outdated, the water pressure was not very good and could use some updating, and the room was very hot, even when I turned off the heat or tried the AC.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and well maintained. We have decided this will be our go to hotel when we want to spend the night in the city. We didn’t bring our dog but it is a plus that we have that option when staying here, also.

Sunday Fun Day

My husband and I took the Amtrak train to Chicago to visit the Art Institute. On arrival we were greeted by a kind young gentleman who let us check our bags before our check in time so that we could go have breakfast in the attached pub. The Elephant and Castle pub is attached to the hotel and serves food and drink on Sunday from 7 am to 2 am. Our room was lovely. It was fresh, clean and very comfortable. The staff is kind and professional. The location is perfect as it is a centrally located. Union Station and the L train are a short walk away. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
