When it said breakfast should be Continental. They offered coffee and pancakes. You make the pancakes yourself. It's ideal for a place to sleep. First time I've ever paid for my room bewchecking ielving.

The room smelled so strongly of fragrance, we had to air it out and locate the source which was the air conditioner filter and clean that. Have to wonder what they are covering up. Bedding also had too much fragrance. Even though we reserved the room for 3 adults and confirmed on check in that we had 3 adults, we only got towels for 2 people both days. No extra toilet paper in the room and no tissues.

It was the perfect location for many of our plans. The owner/staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated - quaint. I liked the added touch of the lights on around the property. Very much enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for Lollapalooza and honestly if you’re on a tight budget and won’t be inside the motel 24/7 just needing a place to rest/bathe then I’ll say this motel is just what you need! I like how transportation was really close to the orange line and there were some stores that open 24/7 like Walgreens. They gave me new towels and face towels every day which I appreciate! My only suggestion/con is that they should do some major renovation as it was really worn down from the walls and floor inside!

Very nice stay

The hotel was fine. The staff were extremely professional. (Even when they had to help us at midnight with a new key). My only issue with Gateway was the water pressure. Everything else was spot on

I booked a room late at night after my flight was cancelled and I was leaving early the next morning on a flight out of a different airport. I really just wanted to get three hours or so of decent sleep on a real bed versus a chair at the airport, and I don't think I got any sleep at all. There were all kinds of noises and sounds that kept me from drifting off plus an ambulance that rolled through right as I was turning out the lights. Waste of money and time.
