I realize this is not the fault of the hotel, but we were unable to keep our hotel reservation due to multiple delays of our 7 AM flight from Costa Rica to Chicago which ended up in flight cancellation (over 12 hours of delays before flight was cancelled). We are unable to rebook our flight until 3 days from now and now will be paying for the room in Chicago plus 3 extra days of hotel rooms in Costa Rica, none of which are reimbursed by American Airlines because this is a “natural event” (due to weather). Sent a message to the hotel that our flight ended up being cancelled. Never received a reply. This has been a bad experience and will likely keep me from traveling for pleasure anywhere anytime soon.

Room was ok - clean sheets - the TV had some issue - the fridge was off - day 1 the front desk was nice person gave me a water bottle the next day the front desk person gave me a water bottle as if she is doing me a favor. The main door seemed hinged at an angle leaving room for light to filter in. The restaurant charged me full price of a soup and sandwich despite me telling them I just wanted a soup

Leaky toilet filled itself over and over all night. Flashing blue and green lights in the heating unit lit up the room all night. Erratic airport shuttle left me standing outside in sub-zero wind chill for 40 minutes. Advertised complementary airport shuttle costs $3 for "sustanability" reasons, which is a total lie.
