The pictures on your site show a beautiful view of downtown. Our room was facing an alley with the view of the back of a brick apartment/condo complex. And 2 of those condos had their loud barking dogs on their back patios. What was the point of getting an “executive suite” with a balcony to stare at that and not even enjoy quiet? At least give me an option and ask me if I want to pay for a room with a view or not. The room telephone did not work, it wasn’t even connected when I tried it. After connecting I still could not place a call to the receptionist. And no ice machines? I get it, there is ann ice tray in the freezer, but by the time it freezes? C’mon!

This was our first time in Chicago, and we loved it. Reading some of the reviews, we were a little skeptical, but I am so glad we kept our reservation. The front desk personnel were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and the amenities the hotel provided were great. We will definitely be returning.
