I recently booked this VRBO home for a recent stay in Illinois for a concert with friends and family. The communication with the host was adequate regarding the stay and what would be provided upon out arrival. Once we arrived to the unit we noticed that there were some things that were not completed and or clean prior to our arrival. The cleaning staff must have recently left there and did not clean one of the main bathrooms leaving water residue and red unidentifiable splatters in the shower. We performed a thorough inspection to find trash and debris behind one of the main bedroom beds and noticeable holes in that bedrooms closets. There were multiple rooms that looked like the sinks and doors were not wiped down due to stains that were noticeable to the naked eye. The laundry had been placed in the dry but was completely wet and there weren’t any clean washing clothes readily available for our use. This was the first time that I have ever encountered issues like this. The over cleanliness of the unit was not good at all even the home location/yard was not careful managed considering that the back yard had what looked like a forest growing from the back along with tress/plants blacking one of the main bedroom windows. The cake of the evening was noticing that we had to kill multiple spiders/bugs in the beginning (we) meaning all 5 people of my group noticed we constantly had to kill spiders in all the rooms in that house before leaving and upon our return.
