Hotel Hell

Upon arrival, they notified me that they overbooked my last two days and that I would have to move to another hotel because they booked me in by mistake My air conditioner never worked the entire time I was there. They kept sending up a maintenance guy with a blow dryer, supposedly to fix it.He never did. The maid came to so-called clean the room. However, she never took out the garbage and had to be asked to put on Clean sheets. Cleaning the room obviously is a different concept to them than to the rest of the world. I have one dinner from the restaurant downstairs. Salmon, it was dry and tasteless. Most of the food actually was God awful! One day I went to the breakfast buffet and ended up paying eighteen dollars for a banana and four pieces of fruit.I checked out.I went to another hotel

The staff were friendly and cooperative. Accomodatiions were surprisingly spacious and and provided a fridge, large comfortable bed and an extra room with a TV and couch (convenient for those with insomnia). My only complaint was that the breakfast offered was a one price brunch with no other options.

The rooms were average.....however the convenience of an onsite restaurant were lacking. Lunch was not available at this facility which is important to travelers who check in around lunchtime.

Nice, quiet hotel just off highway, with plenty of food options in the area. We were in town for a reunion, and the layout of the rooms here are great for a staycation and also roomy enough to have guests pop by. Claudia at the front desk checked us in (what a nice lobby area!), she is super welcoming and professional. A+++ for reception at this hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The only issue was that my husband noticed a little mold in the corner of the shower grout - the bathrooms do not have fans - so it might be time for the hotel to do a little updating on that. Housekeepers were readily available and kept the premises pretty darn spotless during out stay. We also noticed that the door to the parking lot was broken at the time of our arrival, but then quickly repaired within the day. A+++ on maintenance here too! The gym is pretty big and super clean, much more spacious than those at other hotels, and with more equipment options. Highly recommend this hotel if you need a safe, quiet, clean, restful place to stay in the Niles/Glenview area. Cheers~
