Great location, close to Amtrak.

We had a nice night, it was a little difficult to figure how to get in the building, but once we did, it was easy. We walked to a place a block away for a delicious breakfast and then walked 2 blocks to the train station to head home.

Nothing negative about The Buckingham itself, but a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT was that the pool was for only ages 18 and up. We came to Chicago for spring break with our 8yo daughter and promised her a pool. Pool is listed in the amenities with ZERO MENTION of age restriction. It's only when you check into your room that there's a small sign that says the pool is 18 and up. That really, really sucked. PLEASE help other families know this up front.

This hotel was so amazing! The building security went above and beyond and the front desk staff for both overnight and morning were friendly and very knowledgeable. Such amazing service and such a beautiful hotel. The view from the room was perfect of the city line!

The view was amazing, the room was very clean and the breakfast was just enough. It was very quiet, the customer service was outstanding. I was able to visit Chicago by walking because everything was near and I could walk to any destination. The parking was convenient and easy. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Great stay! Great views, really! The train makes a lot of noise and we can hear from the room, but that’s not the hotel fault, but, in the future I’ll prefer some option without this disturbing recurring from every 15min 24/7 noise

Great for a quick stay.

Once inside, it was great. The initial part of parking and getting inside was a little confusing. I arrived in the PM and signs were not great on where to go. The hotel is on the 40th floor so you just don’t walk into a hotel lobby. But the staff and accommodations were perfect for a one night stay. Roomier than what I was expecting. The breakfast was a little lack luster.
