Gave it a chance after reading some unpleasant reviews. The reviews were correct. Room, bathroom, property all in rough shape. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this place needs some work, was probably really nice when it first opened. Has potential but needs a full Reno and deep clean.

Our room had no AC, the fan didn’t work, no toilet paper, it had mold in the shower and vanity. The restaurant wasn’t open on time and we were told we could only have limited items at the contnential breakfast (ie either yogurt or cereal). Either coffee or juice. It was dirty, the hallways were very dark, our lamp was missing a bulb (electrocution hazard), and we had to go ask at the desk for multiple things. They wouldn’t move us. Not good experience or value for $. Would not recommend or stay again.

Stayed 2 nights, quite shocked during check in when being told no ac in our room during the warm days, though discount offered but we prefer comfortable more. It seems a common issue to most rooms! Thanks to front desk staff at afternoon tried his very hard effort to find us a portable ac for our 2nd night. The hotel really needs renovation. Location is the highlight, close to all eating, shopping, beach and the public mineral water pool.

The area where the hotel is located is beautiful. Close to the beach and lots of wonderful restaurants and shops. However, the hotel needs some major renovations. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and a piece of the bathroom ceiling was peeling as well. The curtain rod in the shower was not attached properly so the curtain wouldnt stay closed properly.There was also a large piece of drywall attached to the ceiling most likely covering up an opening. The ceiling above the the smoke detacter had a hole in it. There was also a large stain on the lower wall by the window as well. Last thing I notice that the curtain on the window wasn't large enough so there was light coming in, which for me should be fully covered being a black out. The elevator could definatly do with a checkup as well. Other than all that, staff was wonderful but whoever owns the hotel def needs to so some renovations. Def should update the photos because it's false advertising. Can't say Ill stay there again.

The room was really hot; the air conditioner didn't work. The girl (Indian girl) was in reception in the morning shift and was really rude and didn't like to talk with anyone. We were there just 30 min early for check-in, and she told us we could not check in and we had to wait until 4, and I think this is wrong. Because usually you can do the check-in 1 hour before check-in time, and also there's the parking issue; if you want to park your vehicle in the parking lot, you have to pay $12 per day. Finally, if i want to back Harrison, I never choose this hotel again.

Good luck finding staff. Dirty floors. Dirty sheets. Bathroom ceiling falling in. Shower shady as hell. Wall peeling. A/C oddly suspended and held in window by some sort of rod. Cardboard covering the holes in window. Looks like a 10 year old put it together. Chair in room is FILTHY. Wall peeling in room. Without Expedia, this room was $244. With Expedia we paid $186. A fair price for this room would be $50. Don’t walk around without shoes on. Room 318. We stay here often because it’s cheap but cheaper shouldn’t mean falling apart and dirty. The $15 continental breakfast is not worth it. Muffins, croissants. Fruit. It should be complementary.

Hotel Needs a Makeover/ No Public Hot Springs

Hotel is quite old and needs some work. We were very disappointed when we learned that there are no longer public hot springs in Harrison. Apparently the only way to sit in the hot springs is to stay at another hotel down the street, where two hot pools are located on the hotel grounds.
