I stayed at this property the 20th and the 21st of August. First off I’ve stayed in sandman hotels probably 50-60 times, and most occasions have been very good which is why I decided to stay here. I was in town bringing someone for a surgery in Abbotsford. I myself had an ankle surgery 3 months ago and I’m still on crutches. There was one very helpful and sweet staff member the night we checked in and I wish I had her name. After that, it was an absolute disaster. The first night we decided to use the hot tub to calm nerves before a procedure the pool and hot tub were calm as we entered and about 2 minutes in was flooded by families. (This is expected and totally welcome of course) what wasn’t respectful was the screaming, jumping and splashing of all those around (their parents were there and failed to correct anything) I understand kids having fun and that wasn’t the problem, throwing water 30 feet away and slashing other guests was disrespectful and we ended up just leaving and going back to the room (staff came in and saw this to replace towels and just ignored what was happening). After surgery front desk told me to come get pillows myself (I’m on crutches), I struggled and returned with pillows I didn’t notice were absolutely filthy. The room was also dirty and the walls were chipped, leaving they didn’t provide a cart and staff watched me fumbling on crutches with bags with 0 help offered at all. I’m reaching out to sandman directly, extremely disappointed.

Was disappointed. Very expensive for what we got and did not feel welcomed being an Expedia member. Felt sub-par booking through Expedia. Coffee pot handle in room was sideways unable to use. Drapes were torn, iron had sticky stuff on it. Mirror in bathroom had no light working on it.
