Holiday Inn is a wonderful hotel. The moment I entered the hallway, the high ceiling made the air feel fresh and open. When I walked into the room, I immediately felt relaxed — exactly what I needed after an exhausting day at Universal Hollywood. Everything in the room looked new and clean, except for the TV. I would recommend upgrading to a smart TV. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and healthy options. Overall, I highly recommend this hote

We selected this hotel because we were in town for a baseball tournament and it’s not too far from the ballpark and it also provided a hot breakfast. When we checked in we were told about a possible power outage that would be from 9pm-3am and by then it was too late to cancel. We thought no biggie, we wouldn’t be back until late anyway and we would be going straight to sleep. When we returned they provided a small mini flashlight to us, which was a nice gesture. Well upon waking up around 6:30 the power was still out which I’m guessing affected their hot water heater. It was not pleasant taking a cold shower during the winter. When we went to leave no other accommodations had been mentioned or provided nor was an apology. We just provided the front desk clerk with our room key and room number and we were sent on our way. The power outage had affected the other hotel in the same parking lot but it looked like other accommodations had been made for them, I wish they had a backup for situations like this. Other than that the rooms were clean.

Unfortunately, for the day I chose to stay at the location. They had a scheduled electrical service. They informed me that the service would be from 9pm-3am and would not have hot water, television or any power at all. It actually took longer. Power came back up at 8:30am. Luckily checkout was at 11am.

Booked back in July for 1 night stay in December. Arrived to power outage that was scheduled, unfortunately I wasn't informed until I arrived. Staff was polite and did their best for the guests. Power eventually was restored a hour before we departed the next day.
