Charming.

The Hilton Netherland is a very old and charming building. The publics spaces were clean and the on-site restaurant, 1931, has some amazing offerings. The room was a reasonable size (Junior King Suite) and the view of the city was priceless. The only issue that occurred was not having hot water in the bedroom bathroom shower. The secondary shower off the entry eventually got hot, but I was told the main had a different pipe runs. Whereas the secondary shower's water was on the same as the 17th floor and the main shower has to come up to the 29th and back down. This seems to be a quirk with the older building.

I loved not only the appearance and comfortable energies of this Hilton but the positive energies and knowledge of the staff. The only thing I disliked and was quite disappointed in was that the steam room is only open for use during the week for a few days. I was there for a nephew's funeral and was hoping to relax with steam but couldn't.

I booked for my Mom and she is having a nice time! She seems to think everything is wonderful thus far. They still have breakfast to do but dinner was enjoyable and the place had been beautiful! Staff must be pretty good or she would be raising cane at me for having booked with them.

There is nothing else in the Cincinnati area that compares with the Hilton Netherland. You are surrounded by history and beauty. I took the grandchildren to experience the hotel and to explore it. While we did not see the Lady in Green, I was not surprised that Winston Churchill recreated a part of his stay in his own home.

Overall I love this hotel! The only issue was the condition of the hotel room itself. The bedding and stained and had tears in the fabric. The toilet was absolutely disgusting, sprayed toilet water all over the bathroom with every flush, so much that the toilet seat was soaking wet each time I went to use it. The shower head was so calcified that the water was shooting sideways all over the walls and ceiling. If I didnt love this hotel as much as I do, the bathroom would have been enough for me to never return.
