Excellent stay

Excellent staff really helpful and the room was spotless, really comfortable bed in a really quiet setting. Two really good restaurants onsite with plenty of choices.

Lovely surroundings. Bed was comfortable. But interior felt lifeless and rooms lacked character. Overall good value for money with plenty of choice at breakfast. We ate cooked breakfast at 8.40am and everything was only lukewarm, the sausages were the only item we had that was actually warm and we tried everything except the beans. Would stay again but also tempted to try another hotel nearer Gloucester or Cheltenham to see if a bit more interesting and inspiring.

Another lovely stay

Lovely from start to finish. Highly recommend Jody’s magic hands for a massage in spa6. Only downside was a noisy fridge in the room, and (I never thought I’d say this) an over-attentive waiter trying to take our dinner plates before we’d finished our meal in the Boathouse

Lovely stay, will definitely go again!

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it is a lovely place with the lake being a beautiful feature. The hotel is really nicely decorated and clean, the reception is inviting and the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Our only criticism was the bed, it’s a very small double with a very soft mattress which did not allow us to sleep well but that my suit others.

Ok but not great

Place is nice to someone who likes to hike. It’s 30 min drive to bear at Cotswold attractions. 1. rooms are far from reception 2. hallways between rooms are tiny - only one person fits otherwise you will hit someone with door 3. Sound proof is poor between rooms 4. Breakfast area has only tomatoes and mushroom - no more vegetables. We preferred to eat outside

The Da Vere Cotswold Water park hotel, has great facilities, good size bedroom and very comfortable beds. Food on the Brasserie was excellent but quite a limited dinner menu. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Some staff were exceptional ( Barbara) and a man who welcomed us into the restaurant yesterday evening. Some staff were lacking any real warmth or interest in the restaurant but in the main, the staff we spoke to were helping and informative, particularly Barbara in the bar/ restaurant and reception staff.
