Comfortable Break

Had a lovely stay. Check in was a little underwhelming with until receptionist. It was busy but he was not very helpful and a bit dismissive. The other lady at the desk was lovely and super helpful. Room was comfy and I had a great view of the lake. Had to query my accommodation as was supposed to have a SC apartment but door was closed. Took a long time to get this solved but when sorted someone cane straight away to sort it out. Very comfy bed and nice clean rooms. Decor a bit dated and dark but standard hotel look. Super close to tourist spots. Would stay again.

Decent place. Good location, but in desperate need of a good cleaning. Also, be aware, no AC so rooms are stuffy at best in the summer.

A lovely place in a lovely setting. Checking in was very quick with staff being attentive, pleasant and professional. The only niggle was…The weather was very warm and when we first arrived in the room all windows were closed. It heat in the room was unbearable. There was a floor standing fan which we put on straight away. There was also no fridge in the room. I appreciate that other upgrade rooms had a fridge, but I thought nowadays all hotels had at least a fridge for water and other drinks. A small thing that could be sorted as there was more than enough space in the room to put one. It doesn’t take away the experience we had in staying at this hotel and would return.

A disappointing hotel stay

We stayed three nights and were ‘upgraded’. The bedrooms are sorely in need of refurbishment. Also almost impossible to get shampoo or soap from the dispensers in the bathroom. The food and service in the restaurants was very average and the staff seemed not to be interested. However, the buffet breakfast was very nice and the dining rooms were very pleasant. This was our first stay at this hotel and the area is very attractive, particularly to families, but next time we are in the area we will revert back to a Premium Inn!! We had high expectations and sadly we were disappointed somewhat.
