Café de Playa was absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful, clean, and well cared for, and the staff went above and beyond to make my experience special. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and welcoming — it truly felt like they wanted to take care of me and make sure I had the best trip possible. They gave wonderful recommendations, made everything feel easy, and added so much to my Costa Rica experience. I’m so grateful for their hospitality and I look forward to going back!

Had the best time at this beachside hotel. Very quaint with only a handful of rooms that are all steps to the ocean. The food was fabulous and the area was safe and walkable to other fabulous restaurants. Coco was our favourite beach, calm waves, beautiful sandy swimmable ocean! And best of all no one trying to sell you crap on the beach! Very walkable beach, we loved everything

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are really clean and the food was delicious. Water pressure is amazing here in the showers. The beach is right out front which is a bonus and there is a path that you can walk to town on right from the hotel.

Pros: Location Cons: No reception area. Had to walk around and find staff member to check us in. Bar extremely expensive. I was charged $30USD for a rum and coke. The bed was comfortable enough. Ok place to stay for a night or two.
