Incredible Views!

Wonderful stay! My daughter and I rented this property for a visit to Idaho during 4th of July week to visit family in the area . It was amazing!!! Home is well laid out and lives bigger than the actual size. The deck allows for outdoor living and is covered for shade and rain protection along with parts in the sun to enjoy warmth in the early morning and evening hours. Place has everything you need. We hosted a family bbq with 8 adults and 2 toddlers and all enjoyed. Bathrooms are roomy and both have windows. Really nice!!Road to house is up a hill it not bad and after first time up it’s a quick up and down. Only 10 minutes to CDA. Had one issue with TV and response was immediate from 4 seasons. Wally the owner lives above and came down to help. Wally was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Great stay and will definitely be back!!!

This was by far my favorite VRBO. Make sure you follow the directions to cabin once you are on Sausser Dr or you might think you passed the drive. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We loved being in the cabin so much we ate breakfast and dinner there everyday. Sitting on the huge wrap around porch was my absolute favorite. The pictures do not do the view justice. It actually got to 100 degrees while we were there and never got hot sleeping upstairs as mentioned in another review. Close enough to town to get whatever you need but far enough that you get the in the woods feel. Met the homeowners while they were out walking. Very sweet and helpful couple. Will absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful Retreat

Enjoyed coming back to the peaceful cabin after hiking, UTV riding and doing other touristy things in CDA. Used the grill for several meals and loved the views from the deck.

Fantastic Home and Setting!

Absolutely wonderful home and stunning location! House was beautifully appointed and cared for, and had comfortable beds and linens. The porch was our favorite place to be, both early morning and again in the evening after our outings. We loved this home!! My only suggestion would be to find a way to cool the upstairs master bedroom better, as it was much warmer up there than downstairs, even with the AC pushed down to 65 at night. (Temps were around 90 outside during the day) Downstairs was very cool and comfortable. Will definitely stay again if we are back in the area!

Perfection!

Excellent location if you want to escape from town. Located at the top of a mountain, this is a beautiful and comfortable cabin. So relaxing to drink coffee on the deck looking out at the view. The sunrises were fabulous! We met the owner and he answered all of our questions about Coeur d'Alene. Hoping to return and enjoy another week.

High Quality and Relaxing!

This property was one of the best we've stayed at in our travels. Everything in the house was clean, high end, and good quality, making our stay enjoyable. We even ended up cooking many meals there instead of going out because it was so relaxing. This cabin was only 15 minutes away from the city and the lake, but felt far removed and quiet. We would like to come back someday.

Mountain cabin just south of Coeur d’ Alene

The property was set only two miles off of the highway but a thousand feet above lake Coeur d’ Alene. So, access to town was easy and it was quiet and serene. The wrap around deck provided both views of the lake and views of the wooded nature surrounding the cabin. The facility was clean, comfortable and decked out with luxurious amenities.

Great place

We had everything we needed and then some! It was so easy to just relax and take it in. Very clean and well appointed home! WiFi was a little slow but we managed. Cooked our own meals, watched a lot of TV and enjoyed the people we were with. Owner is very personable and attentive to any need you might have. No mistake in making this booking. We accidentally discovered that Buck knives are made here and that was a fun visit. Nice people there! Would love to stay here again!

A Little Piece of Heaven!

Bucolic-yet-modern cabin

Our experience here was quite good--the cabin was in a peaceful wooded setting with beautiful views over the valley floor below. It was cozy w/o being cramped, well appointed, well maintained. Generally very comfortable; the beds did let us down just a bit, the mattresses were fine but we're spoiled by our king-size at home.

The cabin is amazing! We loved sitting out on Deck and watching the sunrise and sunset. Everything we needed was provided at the cabin. We loved being close enough to the lake and city and far enough away that we are up in the mountains. The views are gorgeous!

Beautiful Gem on the Mountain

Beautiful cabin / view - crazy drive

This cabin is immaculate and beautiful. The view is majestic. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with mother nature, this is the place. The drive up to the cabin is on a single lane road with crazy switchbacks - you never know when you might come face to face with an elk.

My husband and I rented this cabin and it was fantastic. It had all the kitchen items that we needed, washer/dryer, lots of towels, two lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and the million dollar view with a large and beautiful patio, where I spent hours!! The photos are exactly how the rental looks. We loved being away from a lot of people in our own slice of heaven, looking at the best view in the area! After watching for wildlife for several days, we finally were able to see a mama moose with her two babies as we left the property. So cool!

The Cabin

Loved the property. Can't beat the wrap-around deck and the views. The unit itself was great as well as far as quiet, comfort, finishes and decor. Needed to unwind and rest and this was the perfect place for that.

Slice of heaven on earth

This beautiful mountaintop home is even better than the pictures! The home was immaculately clean and had all the amenities to make it feel like our home away from home. We enjoyed the breathtaking views from the deck, especially the gorgeous sunrises. The location was secluded, restful and quiet but close enough to downtown Coeur d’Alene to make it extremely convenient. Wally and Dawn are gracious hosts and we hope to visit this fabulous home again.
