The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The property itself is a bit run down with wallpaper peeling off the walls in the hallway. Our room came with a broken pullout bed so we had to switch rooms last minute as we were getting ready to sleep.

A Nice Stay Despite Initial Hiccups Rating: 4/5 I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn Collingwood, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. However, our check-in was delayed due to a power outage in the entire area. Unfortunately, the reception staff wasn't very cooperative, repeatedly stating "no power" without offering alternative solutions, even after I showed them my reservation. Fortunately, we decided to reschedule our plans and headed to Blue Mountain for the rest of the day. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was impressive. The free coffee was a lovely bonus! The hotel's cleanliness and tidiness were also noteworthy. During breakfast, a large group of people arrived, but the staff managed the situation efficiently. The in-room microwave was a convenient touch, allowing us to warm up our snacks. Despite the initial power outage and staff issues, our stay at Comfort Inn Collingwood was enjoyable. With a bit more attention to customer service, this hotel could truly excel.

You get what you pay for. Was cheap for Collingwood, but the total rate when I checked in ended up being $20 more than my reservation that I agreed to which is sneaky. And the first room they gave us, the bed had yellow stains and hair in it. They gave us a fresh room when we complained. The free breakfast is pretty good. Free parking. Hotel is about 10 minutes from blue mountain.
