They did an amazing job of restoring the original hotel, if you are a fan of staying in a boutique hotel with a serous history pedigree - this is the place to stay in Collingwood.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at—pleasantly surprising in every way. The design is thoughtfully curated, and the team is exceptionally accommodating. I’ve stayed in top-tier five-star hotels, and while this is a boutique property, the overall experience came remarkably close to what you’d expect at a Four Seasons. The attention to detail, service quality, and ambiance were on par with some of the best luxury hotels. The hotel’s rich history adds to its charm, with thoughtful touches throughout that elevate the stay beyond typical boutique expectations.

Super spot

Rachel on front desk greeted us like long lost family. Helped us getting our bags to our room and was so charming and outgoing. The beds were super comfortable. We would definitely go back again and recommend the hotel to our friends. The hotel should look into a shuttle service for older clientele that don’t want to drive especially at night to restaurants.

We stayed at The Dorchester Hotel in Collingwood for one night after a day of skiing, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was beautifully maintained, clean, and had a cozy yet modern feel. The location was ideal, making it easy to access the slopes and enjoy the town. The staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After a long day on the mountain, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay here again—highly recommend!
