Okatoma River Cabin/ Convenient Location

Secluded cabin on the banks of the Okatoma River. This property is approximately a one-hundred acre parcel that has trails and river frontage. The views of the river are phenomenal but the fishing from the porch is even better. This cabin is fully stocked inside and outside. Perfect for family, friends or romantic couple getaways. It’s a very convenient location, not even five minutes from the town of Collins. Grand Paradise Waterpark, Burdens Atv Park, and Salem Opry House Restaurant are a few of our family favorites all within a ten minute radius from the cabin. Canoeing and Kayaking are also available in the next town over with a shuttle service.

This perfect slice of paradise was just what we needed for the weekend. Just off the interstate, hidden in plain sight. Room for the pup to run and play, and an amazing gathering space for hanging out and enjoying the weather. Total seclusion just minutes from town.

Nice peaceful and relaxing. The location is very close to town but very secluded, even with a pin we had a difficult time finding this literal”hidden” gem! We had everything we needed and plenty of room to relax inside and out, wish there was an easy river access but we couldn’t find one. We enjoyed playing corn hole and darts

Excellent Getaway

This is a beautiful, clean well equipped home on a nice lake/creek, on several acres of green land. Very quiet. The sound of the water from the Okatoma River is very soothing. I highly recommend this for a romantic getaway or for a family gathering.

Country Get Away

The property was very nice and secluded. The grounds are well kept. It was easy to find, but we are also familiar with the area. Our family had a great time for the weekend. Our only complaint is the coffee maker is broken and there was not any useable wood to make a fire. We did not receive any check out instructions, so we did the best with our know of previous properties we have stayed at.

Wonderful stay!

My husband, 8 year old son and I (along with our 2 dogs) loved our stay! The house was very clean and everything you could need was available. We enjoyed gumbo on downstairs patio, walking the trails, and drinking coffee in the morning while looking out the large picture windows! We will definitely be back.

Pure tranquility

We needed a place near Hattiesburg to come celebrate my daughter's 18 birthday. This place is away from everything, secluded, and relaxing. Had a nice tender meat from the grill, a piece of cake, and a lot of time to relax.

Not worth the money

Pictures are deceiving and not what you pay for. The highway noise is high. Also in the pictures is shows a gas grill. There is an old charcoal grill that is missing some grate. Cobwebs everywhere on outdoor furniture. The firepit is right at the edge of the cliff to the river so there are no chairs around it. There are two lawn mowers underneath the patio. Pictures are deceiving. Wish I could get my money back. We had planned to have a nice, relaxing weekend by the lake. We revised our plans and went to Hattiesburg due to it not being what was expected.

Amazing Get Away

From the first turn off you can already feel the relaxation come across. The house and land was just perfect. The house was stocked with all the amenities one could want, and the loft under the home had dart board, corn hole, basketball goal, and swing. The family absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back

Very peaceful! This was exactly what we needed and wanted. A very secluded place, perfect for relaxing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend get away. Only downfall is there's no good dinning in the area. For us it was a place to get away.

Total Ripoff, Money Back Please

Very Hard to find -- Messy construction site right next to the house (addition?) -- Inside of the house the dirtiest we've ever seen: dirty sticky floors, sticky table and chairs, socks and panties in cupboards, chewing-gum pasted to supposedly clean towels, hairs in bed, dirty bathrooms with stained shower curtains, owner's personal belongings and used kitchen and bathroom products in every closets and shelves, no amenities for the guests -- Air pump device for the sceptic tank right beneath the main bedroom running continuously will prevent any low-rumble sensitive person to sleep (asked the owner, was told I could turn it off at night, but manufacturer says can't be turned off more than couple hours, no switch anyway) -- Beware, the house is on wood pilings with too few cross-beams, so it sways when you move around inside, vertigo guaranteed -- Back trails littered with plastics and other garbage -- Grill outside has never been cleaned -- You will NOT feel welcome in this house!
