Rauhallinen perhekeskeinen retriitti

Tervetuloa Calor Nest -pakoon Manitou Springsissä! Naapurimaissamme on kätkeytyneenä kukkuloita, joista ympäröivät upeat näkymät. Oleskelu kodikkaassa paikassa on täydellinen paikka levätä tutkittuaan Manitoun keskustaa, kiipeilyä Manitou-kaltevalle, vaeltamista Jumalan puutarhan ympäri tai kävellen Vanhan Coloradon kaupungin läpi. Pikes Peak on aivan edessä ja Red Rock Canyon Open Space -alueella on paljon upeita polkuja, joihin pääsee naapurustoltamme.

Olemme muuttaneet kellarimme kauniiksi 3 makuuhuoneen / 1 kylpyyksiköksi, joka sisältää keittokomero / pyykin, ja laajoilla päivityksillä raikkaan ja mukavan tunteen. Sinulla on oma sisäänkäynti ulosmarssi-terassin oven kautta. Elämme yläkerrassa uusimman lisäyksen, tyttövauvan kanssa! Meillä on myös vanhempi koira Chai, ja toivotimme juuri tervetulleeksi koiranpennun Nalan, joka rakastaa tapaamaan uusia ihmisiä.

Sisäosa on päivitetty huomattavasti, mutta ulkopinta on edelleen keskeneräinen. Ole kärsivällinen kanssamme, kun tuomme sen sisätilojen tasolle! Olemme hinnoitelleet paikkamme vastaavasti, kun aloimme äskettäin isännöidä.

Not what I thought

The price was not worth the stay. Had to walk around the house to get in,no front door, steps not explained older people could not make it in, owners live above and are very loud night and day. Just disappointed for the cost.

Clean & Great Location

Our stay at the Calor Nest was wonderful. The host family was very nice and gave us good suggestions on what to see. The rental is in a walkout basement of their home and was extremely clean, with a homey feel and a nice amount of natural light. Their dog was very sweet and would hang out on the patio by the door. Being able to see Garden of the Gods from their patio with a cup of coffee was very relaxing.

Charming place

We enjoyed our stay at the Calor Nest. Communication with the hosts was great. Check in couldn’t have been easier. We had everything we needed and some extras. We thoroughly enjoyed their sweet pup Nala. She snuggled with me as I read a book in the back yard. Would stay here again and bring our kids.

Nice, but hot and not very peaceful

Excellent location. Beautiful lot. Nala the dog is an absolute doll!! Wonderful family of 5 that owns it and lives upstairs. The unit is esthetically well done. We had everything we needed. A couple big downsides though. There was very uneven climate control. One floor a/c unit in the livingroom area and fans in bedrooms. The bedrooms were very hot (Aug). I slept on the couch and put every fan we could find in my sons room. Also, I would not recommend this for people who want to rest, it is very noisy, especially early in the morning. I understand it is the owners house, I just think renters should be made aware that it is going to be very noisy and not necessarily "peaceful".

5 Gals from Wisconsin loved the Peaceful Family Oriented Retreat

We stayed from Aug. 2nd - 5th, 2024. As one of the Gals stated in the coffee table book, "We could not have stayed at a better place." We were all so impressed with many things including the cozy house, lovely touches of comfort, loved the family and their dog, who live upstairs, the views are awesome, close to many attractions and we all agreed we would stay there again if in the Manitou Springs area. :)

Great place to unwind for a family

Great location, and it's just like staying at home. Family of four will not be disappointed. If you like to come back to a quiet neighborhood to decompress after a day of hiking and shopping, this is your location. Host family was great as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our bonus time with Nala, greeting us with a tail wag and nose bump whenever we came back.

Great Location and Wonderful Hosts

We have a wonderful stay, and this downstairs property was perfect for our family of five. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The family who lives upstairs is so kind and helpful, and my kids loved playing with their kids and dog. We loved that there were hiking trails so close, and it was super convenient to downtown Manitou Springs and the Garden of the Gods!

Great property and location!

Came to Manitou Springs for a quick weekend getaway with my dad and brother. Property was in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown and a short drive to Old Colorado City. Check-in was a breeze and the property was perfect for us. Thoughtful amenities and very clean. Would highly recommend this property!

Will stay again!

We very much enjoyed staying at Caleb and Taylor's property. The location was extremely convenient for accessing downtown Manitou, the Cliff Dwellings and Pikes Peak. It is obvious that they want to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests, as the house is well stocked, clean and welcoming. They were immediately available for any questions we had. Will stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway

We had an amazing week at the Calor Nest! Everything has been very well thought out down to every detail. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and there were movies to watch and games to play with our kids. We loved being able to come back and relax in-between our adventures and it felt like a home away from home. Our family loved getting up early to see the mule deer that came into the yard every morning and the views of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak were fantastic. There is a great park nearby to walk to and Red Rock Canyon Trailhead is right up the road! We loved getting to know Caleb and Taylor. They gave us plenty of privacy but we’re always available to give advice, chat, and really make us feel welcome to the area. We also enjoyed greetings from their dogs Nala and Chai. They have done an amazing job and we would love to come back! Tim and Kelley Alkema

Manitou Springs gem

We stayed two nights while traveling from Dallas to Boulder. Our stay was wonderful. The property is perfect for families. Plenty of space to be comfy and rest after sightseeing. Everything we needed was provided. We didn’t get to use the firepit table because of rain, but it looks really nice. The kitchen is well stocked and very spacious. A dining room is also perfect. Beds are comfy and bedrooms are wonderful. We’ll plan on staying here again when we travel to Manitou!

The attention to detail of the property was impeccable! This property is centrally located to any and every Manitou Springs/Colorado Springs activity you plan.
