Great hotel for anyone

Hotel was easy to find, right off I-26 in Columbia, SC. Renovated rooms, lobby and great gym. Breakfast was great, a variety of foods including hot and cold items and fruit. Personnel at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Area was adjecent to shopping and several restaurants. Highly recommendfor families, seniors and business travelers.

The check in staff were awesome and she was a joy to meet. The bathroom has water damage on tje door and it is in need of replacement. Would be nice to have a spare roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was too firm for me.

Wish the breakfast on Sunday started earlier. We left before we got our breakfast so we could get on the rode. Room had some debri on the floor when we got in our room, q-tips and snacks, but am sure it was an oversight. Employees were helpful.

Very old hotel, lots of wear and tear. Seemed fairly clean. Room smelled musty like wet dog, very humid. Gym is tiny with very dated equipment. Good breakfast and good coffee machine in the lobby.
