I loved how qiute its was. The staff was friendly I really like the bulletin boards by the elevators. Showing you different types of things to do around the area.
Staff was not helpful. No remote in the room, went to the front desk and got one and it didn't work, finally just gave up. They didn't have the king bed room we reserved and gave us a handicap accessible double bed room and didn't say a word about it when checking in, when we asked about it later they blamed Expedia. The room was clean and the bed(s) were comfortable.

For the price you don’t get much. I could stay at a 4 star hotel in downtown Chicago for the price and it seemed like a plain 3 star hotel. I didn’t have many options in the area so I guess they are price gouging.
The room was very clean the staff were extremely friendly.

I stayed at this property on 2/6/26, it is very nice and very new!
I saw and spoke to many members of the staff as they were going about their work day, each of them very pleasant, helpful and attentive. They also seemed to like each other, there was a genuine feel of comradery.
Breakfast buffet was excellent, beds were comfortable!

Worst hotel customer service I have ever experienced. Booked through hotels.com but they (this Tru location) said since their system wasn't operating well that they had no record of my reservation and refused to help in any way. Simply said for me to contact Hotels.com, even though I could show them the reservation on my phone (and it was clear by the parking lot they had tons of rooms available). Had to jump through a ton of hoops and threaten legal action to get my money back. Put a black mark on our whole vacation and soured us on Tru and the whole Hilton brand.
