Here for the Ohio State Fair. Paid over $400 for a 3 night stay. Was asked if we wanted Housekeeping. I said absolutely. Checked in Wednesday. Today is Friday with checkout Saturday. No housekeeping whatsoever 😡 questioned it Thursday night & was asked “how long are you staying ?” Answered check out Saturday. Was told housekeeping is every 2 days & the night front desk clerk was rude when I questioned the every 2 days. Her response was blunt, rude and reiterated “I told you every 2 days”. Assume she chose to order our room not to be touched at all. Trash overflowing, had to ask for towels & washcloths. I would like a refund ! I would like an explanation on why we were treated this way. I do have pictures & would be happy to share them.

We had a problem with television and remote. Couldn’t change channels or volumes. There solution was just unplug it. That’s easy for someone who doesn’t use the television to fall asleep. Not so much if you do.

Check-in & out was a breeze. Fast and convenient. Self-parking on property. The room at first glance seemed okay. The bedding and towels were clean; toiletries had been replaced. It wasn’t until we returned from our event that we noticed the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was hair all over the tub and shower curtain. I’m not sure the bathroom floor had been cleaned. What looked to be foundation was smeared down the wall at the sink/mirror.

Supposed 3 star hotel run like a motel

We stayed from 6/18 to 6/22. The hotel experienced a power outage on 6/18, which caused our room to become unbearably hot, and the refrigerator stopped working, causing us to lose our food. We were in town for a convention, and the outage prevented us from participating in cosplay events, which was a major inconvenience. Additionally, our toilet stopped flushing, though we were unsure if this was power-related. While we understand power outages happen, it was frustrating that hotels across the street had power. We also paid an extra $25/day for breakfast, but after the outage, we were told we couldn't receive a refund for the first breakfast. The elevator was also out for the duration of our stay, and as I’m pregnant, climbing three flights of stairs multiple times a day became very difficult. The staff's handling of the breakfast issue was frustrating. Despite confirmation from Hotels.com that breakfast was included, one staff member insisted we needed itemized receipts, which we didn’t have. Only on the last day did another staff member confirm that breakfast was part of our reservation. The only redeeming factor was the sweet server at the café, who was kind and efficient. We still haven’t received our refund for the first breakfast and are concerned the charges for breakfast might have been added to our room. Given these issues, we will not stay here again.
