Issue With Key Cards, But Overall A Great Stay

The key card system was down for most of our stay so every time we left the hotel and came back someone had to let us into our rooms. The first night it took an hour and a half because the master key card stoped working and they had to use a special tool. The buffet was good. Had enough eggs, bacon, and sausage for my low carb eating habits, and the fruit (melons and pineapple) were amazing-PERFECTLY ripe. The bed is the reason we stayed here (taken a lot of trial and error to figure out that Crowne Plaza is the only hotel that I sleep comfortably at), and it was very good. I didn’t sleep for 8 hours, but I did sleep solidly. The staff was excellent throughout our stay. They had wonderful attitudes, all very sweet, and accommodating to all our requests. I want to mention Chris specifically the manager, who was extremely nice to us and did everything he could to alleviate the stress of not being able to use our key cards for most of our stay. I appreciate him.

This hotel is past it's prime. Leaking ceilings faulty key cards. Cars were broken into. Staff didn't know what they were doing. Banquets we attended were understaffed and the food was sub par and they ran out of several things. Some people were not even served. Our room was clean but we heard others had issues.

While the hotel was older but clean and service was good, over 20 vehicles were broken into on the night of Oct 4. They have security in the parking lot but somehow over 20 vehicles had their windows smashed. I was very fortunate that it did not happen to our car but we will never stay here again. Not worth having to get your window fixed and personal items stolen.

Thought this hotel was in a great neighborhood but come to find 7 cars mine included vandalized. Side windows were smashed out and rummaged through. Police were notified.

For the price, it’s a great deal. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. It’s slightly outdated, but it didn’t bother me. I had a great night’s sleep stopping off there for the night on a long road trip. I’d definitely stay there again.

I have photos and videos to prove this. I moved to 3 different rooms with the staff to find something that would pass as suitable. The sinks and tubs were completely backed up. Nothing like showering in your own filth. Mentioned to the manager and nothing. Was done. Mold painted over in the bathrooms, no ventilation and peeling paint. Just an awful, awful “hotel”

I've stayed here in the past 10 years and had a positive experience each time, so I was looking forward to returning. After checking in at about 5:30pm, we went up to the room and the cleaning staff was in our room finishing up. We were told they needed another 5 minutes. They left only one cup an one coffee. The next day, no one cleaned our room, so we had to ask for two clean towels be sent to our room. Again, no coffee, no cups. At least the room was cleaned for our third night. The room was quiet and comfortable. It was not a great experience.
