Dont stay!!

Not a great experience! The sheets were stained and dirty no pillow cases pillows were dirty the tub was dirty the bathroom door had animal scratches red paint splatters on the lamp shade the tv was inatalled crooked and no extra toilet paper! The neighbors next door were so loud! The bed was really uncomfortable! Also my kept failing i had to get a new key everytime i tried to open the door! I did not call the front desk becuase ive seen reviews like mine and the people who run this place dont fix anything so why bother thats why i rather write a review!

Disgraceful

My son and I were in Westerville for a College Football Combine. We were awoken at 5:00 am by the sound of running water pouring into our bathroom through the light fixture from the room above us. Maintenance came to the room. My son didn't get nearly enough sleep, which negatively impacted his performance at the camp that I paid over $400 for, plus equipment, and I demand a refund immediately. The rude and inconsiderate desk clerk told me "well, you slept in the beds, the room above you leaks". This is beyond disgraceful. You should be ashamed of treating people like this. I fully expect my money to be refunded, plus an additional stipend for the damage you did to my son.

The beds were super dirty, with dirt and stains and hair. The room smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom sink was being held up by a two by hour and while in the room for the 5 minutes a flea jumped on my hand. I immediately asked for a refund. We will see if I get my money back. Definitely did not meet the expectations that were portrayed online. Luckily we could get a hotel room at a super nice place across the street.

The person at the front desk was nice and helpful. I was given a key and there were people in my room. I was given another room that was acceptable. 3 other people in front of me about to get rooms that were reserved were turned away because they were double booked. I was just happy that I was able to get a room - even though I booked one.

Never Again!

When I went to check in at approximately 715pm, the front lobby was dark. A younger person checked me in and I paid with cash. She then asked me for a $100 cash deposit for the room. Now there is no room service, etc, so my thought was that it was for a pet deposit. I did not have a pet with me which I disclosed SEVERAL times. So another younger person came out, asked me if I had pets, and told me that it was required to have a cash deposit. I told them I did not have it and then asked for my money back to go to another hotel. I already had a bad vibe because of the darkness in the lobby and the big plastic barrier they had all the way across the front desk. I understand this could be for COVID, but it also could be for their protection. This did not present as being a good area of Columbus. So they would not give me my money and then an older lady came out, asked me if I had pets (again) and then said I could put the $100 on a card but it would take a week to go back on my card. I was not able to do that either. I again asked for my money back and they would not give it back. The older woman finally waived the deposit and just told me not to smoke in the room. I don’t smoke. This is the only reason I gave them 2 stars for service. When I get into the room I wash my hands and go to use one of the 2 washcloths provided. One of them was dirty and the other had a pubic hair stuck to it. So that was out. Overall I felt very uncomfortable in the room and I did not feel safe
