If I could give this hotel 10 stars instead of 5 for excellency I would. I have never been so overwhelmed by seeing such a beautiful imposing building right overlooking the stunning lake. We were blown away by absolutely everything it offers - location, views, room and breakfast. Very sad to have to leave here and will be back one day.

This is a lovely grand hotel, you really couldn't get a much better location at the foot of Lake Como. Our room looked directly over the lake, access to the shops and multitude of restaurants took only a few minutes. The hotel had lovely period features, dining room was stunning and our room though on the small side was very cosy, the bed exceptionally comfortable and had more than adequate storage. Breakfast was good and the cleaners did a brilliant job. All in all highly recommended.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in May 2025. The room and service were very good. We paid extra for a balcony view over the lake, which was great except for the fact that part of the lake enters the hotel property and acts as a litter and debris trap for the whole lake. The hotel staff let this fill with rubbish and did not clean it. Spoilt the view and our impression of the hotel and its staff.

A true delight

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are spotless and super comfortable with fantastic views. The breakfast is copious and delicious. The restaurant very very good. The position on the lakefront has is perfect.

Staff and hotel was lovely perfect location! But we wasn’t told when we checked in that there was a daily charge for parking! When checking out we received a bill for 25 euros a day for using there carpark!! In all my years of traveling and the numerous hotels I have stayed in I have never been charged for using there carpark!! Absolutely disappointed in this! This service should be free to all guests staying at this hotel and clearly explained when booking to get there is a charge!
