Just a few steps from Como’s historic center, LIBERTY HOME is located within an elegant period building, enhanced by charming stone facades and Art Nouveau architectural details.

The accommodation welcomes guests into a bright living area where the fully equipped open-plan kitchen blends harmoniously with the convivial space dominated by a large dining table. The wooden classic furnishings and the refined herringbone parquet flooring give the environment a timeless elegance, while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed and a spacious wardrobe with doors, ideal for organizing your wardrobe neatly. In the antechamber preceding the room, a practical sofa bed offers the possibility of accommodating two additional guests (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa). Both rooms overlook a charming columned balcony, a typical stylistic element of the era, perfect for admiring picturesque views of the city. Completing the apartment is a practical and functional bathroom with a bathtub and shower.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

The apartment has a private parking space in the condominium area.

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

In the surroundings of LIBERTY HOME, you can discover some of the area's most fascinating sights. Just 200 meters from the apartment begins the pedestrian path to Brunate, a charming village known for its spectacular views over Lake Como and the Alps, also easily reachable by the historic funicular departing from Viale Geno. The path, known as the "Scalinata from Como to Brunate", is part of the Lake Como Poetry Way, a network of walking trails narrated by great figures of the past who lived in or wrote about the Como area. Heading down toward Como’s city center, in just 5 minutes by car or with a 15-minute walk, you can immerse yourself in the city's vibrant heart. The characteristic cobbled historic streets lead to iconic squares such as Piazza Duomo and Piazza Volta, through elegant boutiques on Via Vittorio Emanuele and restaurants where you can savor the local cuisine. From Piazza Cavour, the city’s main square, you can board Lake Como Navigation ferries and reach some of the lake’s most renowned towns, including Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, and Varenna. On foot or by city bike, you can also easily reach the Giardini a Lago, the Tempio Voltiano, and Villa Olmo with its park. Or, by walking along Viale Geno’s lakeside promenade, you arrive at Villa Geno on the opposite shore.

How to get there:

By car, take the “Como Centro” exit from the A9 motorway and set your GPS. In about 15 minutes you will reach the property.

By train, from Como S. Giovanni station take bus N5 towards “Civiglio” and get off at the “Como - Zezio” stop (18 stops, about 6 minutes), right in front of the apartment. From Como Lago station, go to the bus station, take the C40 bus, and get off at “Como - Dottesio” (2 stops, about 3 minutes); from there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the property. Alternatively, from Como Borghi station, walk for about 15 minutes.
