Accueil agréable. Hotel des années 70 , qui n'a pas changé depuis. Salle du pt déjeuner très sombre, lugubre, sans musique, inconfortable. le prix du pt déjeuner est bcp trop cher!! Chambre propre. revoir la literie en totalité. Lit de 140 uniquement et inconfortable.

Den ældre dame der betjente var flink og imødekommende men talte dårligt engelsk. Hotellet er gammelt og slidt og lugter muggent og indelukket. Morgenmaden var simpelthen for ringe. Alt i alt et hotel langt under den standard hotels.com normalt udbyder. Hotellet kan ikke anbefales da prisen også indikerede at det var et godt hotel

Un "no show" grâce à l'hotel voisin

Et bien si vous allez dans cette rue, il est probable que vous vous trompiez d’hôtel comme moi. Les portes des 2 hôtels sont à coté. Dans l’hôtel Océanides, on vous accepte comme si vous aviez réservé (alors que vous n'avez pas de réservation) et dans Modern Hotel, on vous facture la nuité sans même s’inquiéter si vous ne venez pas alors que vous êtes dans l'hotel voisin. Résultat : je paie deux nuit pour le prix d'une. Je ne dois pas être le seul dans ce cas.

Je suis contente d'avoir séjourné dans cet hôtel

Nous sommes en plein retour dans les années 1950 en ce moment et si vous appréciez cette mode, cet hôtel est resté dans cette ambiance, c'est un vrai hôtel "fifties" il a besoin d'un coup de fraîcheur mais on fait un bon en arrière car son mobilier et la déco date de 1958 et c'est très beau. La patronne est une dame hyper acceuillante, chaleureuse.

"Modern" comme dans après-guerre

il y avais pas de toilette sur la chambre, c'est pourquoi on est parti tout suite sans y passer la nuit. Pas d'ascenseur non plus et la chambre était dans la troisième étage (et nos bagages lourds). L'hôtel avait l'air d'un établissement après-guerre. La propriétaire a sans doute du l'humour de l'appeler ainsi.

Value for money near the town centre.

The elderly madam is very helpful and will do all she can to make your stay a good one - but this can't make up for the fact that the place is very tired and needs modernising. The Modern hotel was probably modern in the 60's!!!.

Very good location

We enjoyed our stay at the Modern! Very much a no frills accomodation in a very good location at a very busy time in Concarneau. The lady owner/manager was very friendly and helpful and did her best in broken English to help us Australian tourists. We loved Concarneau as a holiday destination in France and will be returning.

Hôtel situé près du port de plaisance. Chambre au 2ème étage sans ascenseurs, pas de salle de bains dans la chambre juste un lavabo. Les toilettes sont au fond du couloir et la douche se trouve au 1er étage. La chambre n'est pas propre, des cheveux et des tâches sur le sol, de la poussière partout, des toiles d'araignées, la fenêtre ne ferme pas complètement, ... .

A slice from the past

La Madame was born in the building during WW II before it was converted from a mill to a hotel. I had great conversations each day about the during breakfast about the town and love it. Very unique experience.
