I booked this hotel based on price, pictures and reviews. First of all, the pictures are very deceiving. And the reviews must be people they pay to stay in their hotel for good ratings. The check in guy, walks out barefooted. They give me a room that had filthy floors, I complain, they give me a different room, it reeked of weed. They give me a third room, it was filthy as well. And I killed a small roach on the desk. I went the bathroom and saw a large German roach sitting on the baseboard. I stayed in the room till traffic died down, and checked out. The baseboards looked like they had diarrhea on them. The bed frame was filthy, the couch cushions were disgusting and all broken down. The floors were dirty, the towels were dingy too. I felt so uncomfortable in that room that I couldn’t fathom sleeping there, so I left. I let the guy at the desk know I was leaving and they had roaches. He didn’t seem surprised and said he would let them know. Don’t be fooled by the new exterior. The floors in the room, were also coming unglued. You could feel them loose under your feet. This place is not fit for clean people to stay.

Pleasantly surprised

I had visited the Whataburger restaurant on Northpark Drive in Kingwood, TX many times but didn't know about this hotel. The rate was great (less than $70 for one night) and I paid in advance. I wasn’t surprised the hotel had a sign stating there was a $50 deposit but when I checked in it was never mentioned. I don’t damage rooms so it was nice not having to deal with it. I needed to sort a lot of things that are in my vehicle so I was going to ask for a first floor room but they gave me one without me having to ask. The only negative was rooms didn’t open onto the parking lot which would have helped me. I didn’t use a luggage cart until I checked out and it really was just to save time because I had to drive to work. Also, it looked like a brand new hotel but the staff said they had been open for a few years. I definitely plan to stay here in the future.

The decor is pretty heinous in the room but the bed was super comfortable. The staff is nice and the property is clean inside. I booked thinking it would be close to the airport but it’s about 30 minutes from IAH. Wouldn’t stay here again.
