Absolutely beautiful hotel, the only issue we had was the noise from people downstairs and banging doors, our room was at the top of the stairs on the first floor before you go through the double doors and the noise was terrible, the other rooms are through the doors which stops lots of the noise, for a premium room I was disappointed with this

This hotel is beautiful! Right near everything! Amazing service they went above and beyond, can ask them anything and they will help you! Great room with quality products in the washroom and a couple minutes walk to the castle and docks!

A beautiful hotel with genuinely friendly staff the bar was intimate and relaxed, our room was very well equipped and beautifully decorated with equality furnishings and fittings we had a spacious bathroom with shower above a bath. The continental breakfast had a good selection, I especially liked their pre soaked muesli which was full of nuts and fruit and shredded apple something I will try to reproduce, we had a full cooked breakfast the following day which was a little underwhelming, it's wasn't as hot as I would have liked and was missing either toast or fried bread, which if we had known we could have made our own toast from the continental selection but as it was already getting cold would have taken too long, but nevertheless the breakfast staff were excellent and very friendly.

Everything about this hotel was fabulous. Spotless, lovely room, staff were lovely and so friendly. We spent both our nights in the hotel both in the bar and in the restaurant. Food was amazing and the lady who served us was just lovely. Definitely will be returning.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was a little dusty, there was toothpaste on the tiles in the bathroom still and the plug for the coffee machine was half way across the room so had to move that to be able to use, hence then spotting the ring of dust around the machine we had moved. The TV also didn’t have particularly good signal so keep cutting off. The room was cosy though and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely toiletries available in the room.

The staff were really helpful, we'd not realised there was a private car park at the back of the hotel. I'd booked the room with the 500 year old 4 poster bed as a birthday treat, and the room was lovely. Staff were friendly and polite from reception, meal, checkout.
