Please note that the basement apartment has its own private entry, and is a separate living space that is not shared with any of the home's occupants. The residents occupy the main level of the house, and as such, you may occasionally hear footsteps during the day, although we rmake every effort to minimize noise levels. There is a sidewalk to access the basement with a slight slope. If you have difficulty with mobilization and cannot walk up one or two steps the slope may pose some difficulties to walk up.
