Booked through Expedia an executive single room. Asked for a quiet room.
Didn’t get an executive single with an espresso machine that I paid for. When asked the hotel why, they said they had sold out.
So no espresso coffee machine in the room which was why I booked this hotel.
First room had a very strong sewage smell and when the toilet lid was lifted made me gag. It was right next to the lift so not quiet and I asked to move
The second room was in an even poorer state! I got stuck in the bathroom as the door wouldnt open once closed. What I didn’t realise was that it was at the back of the hotel above a very noisy restaurant that had a party so I got 0 sleep. Following the party there were glass bottles being emptied in bins and the next night the bins were dragged over the parking area from about 4 in the morning. I was utterly exhausted!! Two nights of no sleep. Made worse by no coffee machine.
The hotels answer was to give me one complimentary coffee!
