Beautiful Large Farm House Weldon

Go back to the 1670s and enjoy this lovely old house deep in the middle of the countryside. Previously owned by the Earl of Winchilsea and the RH Guy Montague. Lots of character and charm. Large rooms & lots of them. Large stone fireplaces (even one you can stand in), beam ceilings, and four staircases. You will love exploring this old house. Five * reviews. This large character house can sleep up to 16 people with a lovely farmhouse-style kitchen and large rooms for big groups to socialise. The house is set in a village with lots of lovely walks and woodland, parks, local pubs, and cafes.

We can also offer to pamper sessions and private chefs for hen/stag do's or parties if you're interested in any of these as an extra add-on. Let me know what you think. ;-). Thanks for enquiring.

The house is set in a pretty little village with 2 public houses both serving good food, lots of countryside trails to walk and a country park which allows dogs off leads to exercise and a children's play area for the little ones. Nearby is a larger town of Corbywhich offers a great swimming pool, cinema, shopping arcades, eating out, and nightclubs.

There's a train station in Corby and you can get a cab to the house from there. It's only 1-2 miles away. We have a lot of visitors from London which is only an hour away on the train.

As Weldon (near Corby) is very central we have a lot of people meeting up here from around the country as it's central to lots of places.

Business facilities are available if requested. Laptop, projector, screen, help on site for tea and coffee making facilities. Please enquire first.

Late check-out can be booked until 1.30 pm (£100) or until 8.30 pm (£200). Please let us know asap so we have time to re-organise cleaners and consider the next guests.

Long-term stay discounts available, please enquire before booking

If you require a bed linen change during your stay please enquire.

No parties or friends-based bookings without consent from the host. Please advise us on what your trip entails so we can review arrangements, costs, and practicalities.

Please check your happiness with the property within an hour of entry. If you're not, for some reason please let us know right away.

House rules:
Quiet between 10pm – 7am
Guest booking must be over 25 years of age
The number of guests using the property must be consistent with the number of guests booked.
Family parties and family and friend get togethers are ok.
All payments finalised before first day of stay.
Check you are happy the property is safe for your purpose and supervise all children or vulnerable adults
If you are a single sex group with a party in mind you must consult with the host first.
If the property has been discounted, this is purely as a gesture of goodwill. Any behaviour deemed to be rude, disrespectful or abusive to the host, the housekeeper’s, workmen or the neighbour’s the discount will not apply and you will be liable for the full price.
Pets are welcome on the basis they are well behaved, you clear up after them. We charge an additional £50 per dog.
Pragmatic note: This house is a home, not a commercial hotel and it isn’t perfect.
The good news is we’re not expecting a perfect house back. Having said that please look after as best you can.
To manage expectations there will/may be odd personal items left, maybe leftover things like condiments (left for your convenient) etc etc.
Life, kids, people, pets etc create wear and tear will leave clues of their enjoyment in the house despite our best endeavours to the contrary.
We accept this as Airbnb life and you should too.
If this isn’t for you, that’s fine maybe a hotel is a better option. However, my expectation would you cancel before you stay. 😉
