6/10 Okay

Let’s be honest: this is not a 5-star luxury resort. More like a solid 3-star with delusions of grandeur. The food? Carb-heavy, flavour-light, and stuck on repeat. The à la carte restaurants? Somehow even worse (don’t ask me how, but they pulled it off).
And yet… I had a great time. The place has character. The staff are genuinely kind, the guests are a decent, friendly bunch, and it all feels safe, laid-back, and chilled fun. The setting is gorgeous, and the resident barista deserves a medal — by the end of the week he was cranking out espresso macchiatos like a pro.
If you’re chasing champagne-soaked, Instagram-perfect “luxury,” skip it. Which is exactly the best part: the pretentious crowd won’t be here. Instead, you’ll find a relaxed, respectful vibe in a beautiful spot — and that’s worth far more than a limp à la carte menu.
