This Corolla vacation rental affords ample opportunity for as much activity or relaxation as you desire. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the popular Ocean Sands community of Corolla, Fitz by the Sea is full of family-friendly amenities. One of many fun activities could be taking a short drive up to the 4x4 beach to see the wild horses or going just up the road to the Timbuck II shopping center with get shops and food! After a long day at the beach, the family will enjoy taking short walk to the shops just across the street and even stop at the ice cream shop for your favorite flavor! Location of this house is conveniently only 250 yards to the beach access. Enjoy quiet time on the mid-level covered deck and a great ocean view from the deck off the kitchen. Just a short bike ride or walk to the Harris Teeter grocery store, the famous Duck Donuts, Off the Wall Taphouse, close to restaurants, shopping, Currituck Club golf course and many other attractions, this home is sure to please everyone in the family. We DO NOT provide towels, however for a fee of $60 we can provide towels (1 towel & 1 wash cloth per person staying). Don't forget to pack your beach towels. There are 4 bedrooms, 1 - King Bed, 1 Queen, 1 Full Bed, 1 bunkbed room with 3 twins & 1 full. When available you may be able to do an early check-in for a fee of $100. Just need to send a message to owner to see if early check in is available for the day of your arrival.

Per Ocean sands community guidelines, NO TRAILERS, CAMPERS, GOLF CARTS are allowed.

The Crow's Nest is Off Limits from dusk to dawn and for anyone who may be under the influence. Kids should never be up on the Crow's Nest unattended.

The ROOF is OFF limits to EVERYONE. It is a steep roof and very dangerous plus you can do damage to the shingles. Could result in immediate removal.

Great decor! Loved all the mermaids, turtles and assorted beach theme in every room. Kitchen was well set up, there were even an assortment of spices! Beds were all comfortable. Some little details were sent to owner via VRBO app and noted in the guest book from previous renters.

Wonderful stay 10/10 The house was home away from home. Very very minor dings and nicks throughout the house but what house doesn’t have that. The location was perfect located near all the restaurants. Foodlion 5min up the street and the restaurant in the same parking lot highly recommend. The walk to the beach was decent but the stairs over the dunes were tough with a dolly and a big cooler but we survived. We enjoyed Long Beach days and chill nights on the patio. The home was fully stocked even with foil and plastic bags. The beds were clean and the sheets were perfect. Not one complaint. Would stay again.

Great location for access to very nice beach and not too crowded for holiday week. Nice unobstructed ocean views from deck. House is very nicely decorated and has comfortable beds and furniture. Convenient location for stores and restaurants. Some road noise and minor maintainence issues. Overall good beach rental. Would recommend and stay again.

Our stay at “fitz by the sea” was an enjoyable experience and relaxing for all! We loved the quick walk to the grocery store (Harris Teeter) and other amenities we had access too. The walk to the beach was a easy five min walk with no hassle. The house was comfortable and homey. The new fans in the bedrooms made a world of a difference for sleeping! A few things we noticed was the thermostat was a little confusing and only went down to 70 degrees for AC. The WiFi in the home was interrupted at times. We would highly recommend fitz by the sea for beach vacation!!!

Great location but not well maintained

Location was great! Great beach access and close to grocery, restaurants, and activities! However, it does not seem like the house is well maintained. Listing requested to mention anything broken, but I couldn’t even begin to list the amount of things that needed fixed. Most notably there were loose deck boards, broken furniture with exposed nails, and one of the bunk bed railings was completely broken. Additionally the house was not very clean. Moldy food was left in the fridge and oven which smelled horrible. The house was poorly stocked, specifically lacking toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Not sure what the cleaning fee goes towards. The house did not seem like it was cleaned and we had to bring our own towels and make the beds. Overall was fine, would not recommend for kids or anyone who could get seriously injured if they were to trip and fall, but was adequate for a small group of able-bodied adults.

Great location! Beach, stores, attractions, plenty of off-street parking.

Our first trip to Corolla! Home located on cul de sac, enjoyed early morning walks to Duck Donuts, watching sunrises from kitchen deck, sunset beach walks, kitchen/great room saw family time--watching movies, playing Switch video games, card games, meals. Bedrooms spacious. Walked minutes to beach access--private for neighborhood, stairs up & over, down dunes to absolutely gorgeous family beach(stairs access makes beach carts awkward to difficult) Loved the location for Wild Horse Tour, lighthouse, 30 minute drive to Kitty Hawk Wright Museum. Family memories were made to cherish forever. ❤️

Perfect for what we needed!

My group was 8 adults plus 1 baby, we were visiting the area for a friend's wedding down the street, so we just needed something that was big enough for all of us for 1 weekend. This house did the trick! It was just the right size, the rooms were perfect for 4 couples, and the house was very clean. We had to bring our own towels, which was fine because we knew that ahead of time. When we arrived, we found that each bed had the comforter laid out, but the sheets were folded on the bed, so we had to put the sheets on ourselves.. A little odd, but I guess it's to show the sheets are clean. All the upgrades to the home were very well done, and we loved having a code for the house so couples could come and go without fumbling with keys. For the price (especially at the beginning of the summer season), this house was really great and we were so glad to have found it!

Our stay at Fitz By The Sea!

Our family of 5, plus one (2 adults & 4 teens) enjoyed the kids’ spring break in Corolla! The house was exactly what we expected. We enjoyed the main bedroom on the upper level & the other bedrooms downstairs. The house was the perfect size for everyone to have their own space and big enough for us to hang out play games, and watch movies on those rainy days!

Perfect Getaway!

Our son previously stayed at Jessica's beautiful home with friends. This was our first trip to the Outerbanks as a family. Everything was perfect, Jessica knew we would be arriving late and had outside lighting on which was perfect to light our way. She outdid our expectations knowing we were there for the holidays - small adorable tree was up, lights and a mice amount of decorations made us feel right at home. We were able to speak before our trip and i received photos of cooking items, spices available and she even had goodies for us in the frudge and free,er knowing things were going to be closed upon our arrival. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, walks on the beach, exploring local restaurants- the 12 bars of Christmas- we had an absolutely amazing time with our kids. Definitely planning our return, sooner than later.

Wonderful week!

This house easily fit our family of 8, and was also fine when 3 more family members and their dog joined us for a few days. The house was clean, has a great layout, and is equipped with baby gates and cabinet latches, etc. Jess was very accommodating and flexible, working with us to get details figured out. The walk to the beach is through the neighborhood and took us about 10 minutes, but we had little kids with us. It wasn't too long. I would recommend not leaving your beach wagon by the steps over the dune, however, as someone stole ours! We are already thinking about staying here again next year.
