Anywhere that lets us bring our three dogs deserves 5 stars and the outside shower took the show after a long sandy day at the beach!.. Everyone got baths and soaked up the sun the rest of the afternoon in the private fully fenced back yard. I always search for a rental that’s more pet friendly so we can all enjoy our trips the most I would definitely stay here again. Affordable, private, very pet friendly.

No mention of pet fee on VRBO site. Had to go to website for pet fee not mentioned on VRBO site. Place and stay was good. Kitchen and some dishes were not clean. Bathroom is a little small. Great location.

This place was adorable and quaint!

Perfect little cottage for a weekend getaway with husband & my fur babies! I think the outdoor private shower was my favorite cause it had long lasting hot water! The yard was safe and secure for my pets. We all felt safe and comfortable. The sunroom/screened in porch was my 2nd favorite but next time I will bring a fan for air flow. Communication with host 5 ⭐️

Great efficiency

The efficiency has a cottage feel - but is attached to a small house. It has a separate driveway. It is in a great location close to all the attractions of old Port A from food to beach to shops. I had no issues and can recommend the accommodation.

Property was not as pictured. Beautiful wide door featured in most interior pics has been replaced with narrow dark barred wooden door that lets little light into this mostly windowless studio. Management company was aware of bait and switch, but said it was not fraud.

A quick getaway

Great Couples Get Away in Port A

This property was perfect for us as a couple on a week long stay in the Port Aransas area. We wanted a location fairly close to the beach and shops, yet the neighborhood felt very quiet. The house was on the small size, which we knew when booking, but there was also a small private outdoor space available and a screened porch. Several amenities were provided on our arrival which was appreciated so we could settle in right away without needing to shop. The kitchen was a great size for preparing our own meals when we wanted. The bed was comfortable. The management company was easy to communicate with and helped us arrange to pick up keys after hours. We loved our stay and would stay here again.

Had some pros and cons

Pros: short walk to the beach and drive-on access. Dog friendly-we stayed with our 2 dogs. Fenced in yard. Affordable. Kitchen was well stocked with enough to make breakfast, knife to cut a watermelon and Tupperware to store it. Very small unit but still doable for short weekend. Cons: sleep was uncomfortable due to ac unit never feeling cool enough. Felt like there was sand in the bed immediately after getting into them, even after knocking the sand off my feet from the floors. Laundry facility had roaches all in it and we didn't even know where it was located at first. Water pressure in kitchen sink was probably less than 50%. Shower head had water coming out of all the cracks and seemed as if it were going to pop out of the wall if you weren't careful adjusting. Our check in was at 4. We got the keys at 3:55, got to the unit right after 4 and maid service was still there so we had to wait to get in. Baseboards, fans, AC vents all covered in dust. Don't recommend for longer than a 2 night stay. We were just thankful to find a place on July4th weekend that was dog friendly, closer to the water, and affordable.

Cute place, nice amenities

Though a little smaller than expected we adjusted easily and LOVED our stay. We will likely book again on our next trip. The backyard was a wonderful perk and allowed our kids somewhere to play. Having access to laundry on site was definitely a perk.

Excellent stay

Was a great property. Small/quant but it didn’t feel crowded. Nice bed, sleeper couch, nice kitchen amenities, nice bathroom. Everything we needed. Excellent location. Quiet too. If I had to pick a negative, would have liked a light in the screened in patio. Unless I couldn’t find it… All and all 10 outta 10 property.
