We recently stayed at Majestic Cancun with high expectations based on our wonderful experience at the Majestic Punta Cana resort. Unfortunately, this property fell significantly short of our expectations and left us quite disappointed. Family-Friendliness Issues The resort's design and operations seem heavily geared toward adults rather than families with children. Unlike Punta Cana, the layout and amenities don't cater well to families, making it challenging to enjoy our vacation with kids in tow. Dining Concerns Limited Options:** The dining experience was particularly disappointing: - Food quality was average at best - No night buffet available (unlike many all-inclusive resorts) - Very limited restaurant options - No food stalls or casual dining alternatives - Coffee was only available at one location throughout the entire resort This created inconvenience, especially when traveling with children who have different meal schedules and preferences.

The actual property was really nice. The food at the restaurants was really good too. BUT the reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is, 1. What all inclusive hotel doesn’t serve coffee till 7 am. I found that to be ridiculous, they have room service that starts at 6 am but they won’t deliver sooner than 6:30-6:45am, it takes them 30-45 min to bring u coffee. And the bar that serves coffee opens at 7 am. So I found that to be super annoying. It’s simple coffee and people do wake up early so they need to work on that. 2. My other issue with them was we upgraded one of the rooms and paid $600, and we went to the room to see it after we paid and it was right in front of the construction and there was so much dust. So I went back to the front desk. And they literally told me oh well, the supervisor came she was so rude. She didn’t even acknowledge us, she looked at me and said ur room u had was taken already and walked away. I thought she went to do something and come back but she was completely gone. I asked to speak to a manager they didn’t have one on duty and said the manager will call us. We stayed there for 4 days till now we haven’t heard from anyone. So she think they need to work on their customer service.

Service was hit & miss, some were exceptional & others walked by. Room was very nice, odd that bed didn’t face ocean view (? maybe just my room) Over all a good vacation. There is seaweed in the ocean in the area.this has been a bad year every where we were told.

This is what I texted their guest service staff! Thank you so much for all the arrangements that made my 52nd birthday a memorable occasion. I had a lovely evening with the El Mariachi staff! Cally was there to facilitate the restaurant arrangements and greeted us at the door when we arrived. The restaurant manager was very attentive and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed any assistance. The staff, especially Gustavo, surprised me with a wonderful birthday serenade! The food was excellent, and I couldn’t have asked for a better celebration! 🎉 Your thoughtful orchestration of the surprise birthday note and the beautiful balloon decorations on our bed truly enhanced my celebration. You made our stay even more special. Your quick responses to customer service needs are truly commendable! I cannot thank you enough for your outstanding service! Next review: This place is safe and very modern! The campus is huge, and the amenities are well maintained and family-friendly. There is a variety of food selections, with a total of six restaurants available. Guests can also find snacks at various locations throughout the day, including in the lobby, by the beach, and near the theater area. They have also snack bar open till 2am.

We enjoyed a hydrotherapy treatment at the spa/massage section with my husband.

Second visit to the resort 2 years later and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of dining options and spent most of the time in the swim up pool! Any issues we had were minor and the staff was always willing to help and fix any issues.

The property is great but they have steamers in the rooms instead of irons and the steamers don't work. Therefore we have had to go out with wrinkle clothes. They should offer irons to borrow up on request
