Good place to relax

It was amazing experience, is a small resort but cozy, they were always making sure we were doing well.they are on it,cleaning and making sure everything was well. The food is great.

We love El Cid La Ceiba, primarily because the food is better than any other place we have stayed in Cozumel. Mind you, we do the all inclusive that allows us to order from the menu, in addition to the buffet. Sometimes the buffet is not that appealing, and the food from the menu has failed to disappoint us. The rest of the facilities are ok, but nothing special. If you are looking for luxury, this place isn't it. But it is real good. Don't have any issues with it.

Everything was fantastic! We had the best time celebrating our engagement. All the staff members are so welcoming and accommodating. The room was perfect, amazing view and delicious food. Cannot wait to come back soon!

We have stayed here several times and love this resort! It’s small, clean, and has a beautiful view!! The service is usually amazing but on the last day it was terrible! We sat on the beach and not one person came to offer us drinks or food! For over 5 hours….this is not the norm for them and we were shocked!

The snorkeling and scuba diving right off the beach at the hotel was very good. The water visibility right at the beach was the best I have ever seen and there was a decent amount of wild life as well. The food was pretty good and they changed up the buffet every day which was nice to try a variety of foods. I would like to give a shout out to David and Becky. David and Becky were very fast, attentive and helpful. I was very pleased with their service. Becky was super nice, always smiling and very personable. The rooms were very clean and the bed was nice and comfy.

I wish there were more nightly entertainment. There wasnt much to do at night outside resort. Food and drink was great. Lunch menu excellent and food options all day through night! Everyone there was very kind and helpful. Small but very nice and clean resort. For money, it is an excellent value. It clearly states there is no walkable beach, which is no fault of theirs. None of the hotels in this area have that. I would definitely come back.

This place tried to charge me significantly more than I was told I needed to pay upon arrival. And they had a wedding that made extremely loud music until 1 AM. I’m all for weddings, but I’m also all for being able to sleep at a normal hour in a facility that I paid to sleep in. They have a beautiful resort, but they’re trying to take advantage of their customers is gonna cost them in the long run.
