Beautiful property, ideally situated with perfect beach and water access. Incredible! Comparing it to the other hotels it is many steps above. I highly recommend this for families as well as couples.

Beautiful grounds and super clean. The water was beautiful! I felt like they tried to charge for too much, example- no water offered at restaurants, you had to order bottles of water and they charged you. I also felt the restaurants were way too expensive. I would have liked the option of one buffet restaurant as a dinner option.

Disappointing for the Price – You’re Paying for the Beach, Not the Experience I had high expectations for this resort given its stellar reviews and steep price point, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. While the beach is undeniably beautiful, that’s about the only thing that justifies the cost. Service: Inconsistent at best. The beachside service was painfully slow—we waited far too long just to get a drink or order food, which is frustrating when you’re paying a premium. Basic requests for missing items in our room required multiple calls to the front desk, which shouldn’t be the case at a supposedly high-end resort. Rooms & Pricing: For what we paid, I expected much more. The rooms themselves were fine, but certainly not luxurious, and the fact that we had to repeatedly ask for missing essentials was disappointing. The pricing feels inflated for what you actually receive. Food & Staff Friendliness: Compared to other all-inclusive resorts, the food here was mediocre at best, yet priced like a five-star experience. Even worse, the overall warmth and friendliness that you typically get at all-inclusives in Mexico was lacking. Service felt transactional rather than welcoming, which really impacts the overall atmosphere. I’m honestly shocked by the high ratings. If this is your first time in Mexico (not having experienced an all inclusive option either), you might be impressed, but for those who have experienced other resorts—not so much.

We love the reef view room and the fact that we could walk right out are back door and go snorkeling. The snorkeling was absolutely amazing. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and the food was delicious. We can't wait to return.

Beautiful property with two large pools (one quiet pool and another for families / adults). The family pool is right near three great restaurants and sandy beach and amazing waters. Room was overlooking the ocean. Lots of mosquitoes. On my last day I noticed vector control was spraying where the rooms are located. Friendly and attentive staff. Great for a solo traveler wanting some peace and quiet and great for families as well. If you like more of a party scene, this is not the place for you. If you value peace and quiet or family time you will remember for years to come, you will enjoy this place. About 15 mins from city center. Never felt unsafe for a second (solo travel). Playa del Carmen a mere 45 min ferry ride. I recommend ultramar ferry (premium class: better seats and not cost prohibitive). I would definitely come back to this hotel with my family.
