The property is beautiful. Loved our beach front rooms just steps away from world class reef snorkeling. The staff was amazing. Every interaction was kind and friendly and eager to please . Yazmin at breakfast learned we like whipped cream with our coffee and she greeted us with fresh whipped cream every time we sat down. Miguel at the Italian restaurant was a 10/10 server and made my kids feel special. The dive center crew were all great.

This place was great. Everything was very clean. The staff was very professional and courteous. The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are modern and spacious. The food is fantastic, although a bit pricey. The main beach doesn’t look very big, but it was never crowded. You can snorkel right there and see tons of fish.

Stayed 1 week (group of 4) around New Year's Day. --First the good: Staff was very courteous. Room was spotless. Everything worked like clockwork (shower, toilet, sink, TV). Cleaning crew was always on top of things. The hanging rack at the balcony for wet swimming suits was a great detail. Food was very good general. Prices were fair for the quality overall (except for New Year's Eve party --more on that later). Service was good at front desk. Example: They got me an OTC medication I forgot to bring with me from home and delivered it to my door from a local pharmacy within 1 hour (crazy cheap, too!). Gym is good/big enough. Enough machines to do something different every day I showed up to exercise. --The not so good: The hotel lobby gives you the impression of a low-end hotel, which you don't expect considering the price you pay. It's not tacky nor dirty, just very understated (it doesn't "wow" you when you arrive). Gift shop was fairly small. It fulfilled its purpose, but they could have gone a little bigger and more variety. The hotel is not that big, either. You walk the entire property in less 7 minutes. --The dreadful: The criminal violation that was that "New Year's Eve" party. Price was a complete abuse. Outrageous, horrifically expensive. Coming in we were excited about the food that night because we had been pleased with Faro Blanco & Alfredo Di Roma. >US$230/person gets you: a mediocre buffet; an OK DJ; a dreadful ambience duet, 12 grapes & no drinks.

My wife and I recently stayed at the InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort for nine nights. This was our first time at an InterContinental. After a very long and challenging day getting to Cozumel and a fairly late arrival, we were taken care of splendidly from the moment we arrived to our departure. The check-in process was simple but thorough as was checking out. All aspects of our stay were so well accommodated, from the well-kept grounds and housekeeping, to the staff at the great restaurants and bars. We ate and drank at three of the four onsite restaurants and we both can say we did not have a disappointing bite, and also enjoyed our share of dry and dusty vodka martinis made to order, along with a plethora of wine choices. The food was wonderful and the portions more than reasonable. The chefs and dining staff at the El Caribeño, Alfredo Di Roma Trattoria, and Le Cap Beach Club are so professional and personable at the same time. We also spent a morning at the Ikal Spa where we enjoyed various treatments from pedicure to facials and massage. Again, the treatment and service was over the top. My comment to the spa was that the masseuse "melted me." Finally, we required the services of the Conciergeries several times and always felt confident about the information we received and how they went out of their way to ensure our comfort. All of the staff is amazing, they are what makes the place work, and we hope the Intercontinental Presidente recognizes that.
