The resort and royal level room were amazing! The beach was private with a shark net protecting it. Plenty of lawn chairs and the service was great as well. The only complaint we had with the resort, was the food. You only get 1 reservation for every 2 days you stay at the resort. You can use this reservation at any of the 3 restaurants onsite. Outside of this though, you are stuck eating at the buffet. The food for breakfast and dinner were terrible. The refried black beans were 50% water. The rice was only plain white rice. There was never any seafood available. We would get sick everytime we ate the buffet food. If we did this resort again, we would skip the buffet and order room service or leave to eat outside the resort next time. The restaurant food was good, just the buffet that was terrible.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The only issues were the boat traffic made the water rough and murky so difficult to snorkel, the beach area is cramped, no elevator and was on the 3rd floor, and the A/C was very loud (but worked well). Overall it was a nice stay.

Not enough rooms with king size beds most of them have full size beds. The food was okay not much flavor and the buffet was pretty much always out of food. They need more choices and maybe a snack bar, The staff was pretty amazing the resort was beautiful in the jungle. The pools needed to be cleaned more often. We often had to ask them to come clean all the stuff out of the pools. Bars should be open earlier.

Very convenient proximity to dive sites. BEWARE IF USING OFF_SITE DIVE OPERATORS THAT THEY CHARGE A "PIER FEE". somewhat outrageous as they don't help you get on and off the boat or provide any real "service" Other than that extorsion practice of the dive shop/pier the Staff here is great. Always there to help. Pool atmosphere was fun and inviting. Beach could use some work. Not sure how to reverse the erosion. short walk up to Allegro tells you where all the sand went! Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious enough for two over the span of 8 days. It's a bit of a hike to town. This is good and bad. Good for quiet and relaxing. bad if you want to get a taxi and go for dinner off of property. You can rent a car from the hotel which is nice. The Disco could maybe use some revamping as it was not very lively. Food choices were overall pretty good as well as the drink selections. The landscaping of the property is lovely. Lush greenery and well maintained foliage of many varieties. We'll be back.

Great place, love the location! The food was good, and the snorkeling on the beach at the resort was excellent this time, I'm sure it is dependant on weather conditions and events. Close to other snorkeling locations, and lots of excursions available. We still love the beach, they have done a great job trying to keep up with the beach erosion (which is not their fault!!).

This is a great place to stay if you don’t want the lots of people busy Cancun vibe! Smaller resort, relaxing and more quiet with a lot of the same activities and entertainment as larger resorts! Clean facility, helpful staff and not far from shopping if you want to get off the resort!
