Love the pods, roomy and comfortable. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. I was too tired to try the in-house pub but it looked great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Budget friendly option for Fernie!

The customer service was not good. I booked, the check in time said 4pm, check out 10am. We got to the property and there was a sign on the door said check in closes at 10pm. Looked on the booking and the fine print at the bottom said check in ends at 11. We got there and couldn’t check in, we had to go book another hotel 45mins away. They wouldn’t give any refund at all. Terrible experience. We didn’t stay, their rules are so unclear and no budging. They just took the money and told us too bad. Don’t stay here. Lots of other places.

As stated there was no air conditioning, it was a warm night and had to keep windows in room open along with corridor windows to try and let some breeze in. Also as stated there was a fan, but it did have a timer, so we had to keep waking up to turn the fan back on. Other than that, the lounge and patio was nice area to sit and have some drinks. The room was very clean.

It’s good if you want somewhere cheap to stay. It was what we needed it to be. It wasn’t terrible but not amazing either. The beds were decent and clean just the property overall was run down. We would probably stay again but compared to other hostels that are closeish it was lower in the star aspect.
