The check in and the room were nice. It went downhill when we went downstairs to order food which took nearly an hour to arrive and was poor quality and overpriced. Just after midnight the fire alarm went off, the hotel evacuated and it defended into a farce. The staff had no control over the situation, had people gather in the path of the arriving fire services to do a half hearted roll call with no idea of who was still in the building. When the fire service cleared the alarm there was no announcement that it was safe to return, the message was spread by word of mouth from the guests. Serious training in emergency situations is required by the staff and they need to relocate the fire assembly point to an area in the car park that has lighting and away from the entrance.

Wow, what a lovely Airport hotel. Usually airport hotels are a little run down and functional, but this one was a cut above. From the opulent entrance to the well appointed, quality rooms it was a superb stay..... and I wasnt even going to the airport!
