Lovely staff very accommodating, called a cab for us, stored our luggage for several days, complimentary tea/coca tea 24/7 and breakfast. However, there were cleanliness concerns-hair in the shower and ants in the bed. Wifi was spotty. Very close to the centre square -6 min walk- safe area. Would recommend for a mid range budget.

I had an amazing stay in this property in two separate occasions. The staffs were amazing and very accommodative. The room was very comfortable and amazing. Breakfast was awesome. Restaurant food and staff were just 5 stars. The only gripe is, I did not get the VIP perks/benefits as a Gold member of Expedia. But in the end I am really glad that I picked this hotel.

Overall nice and cozy hotel. Little issues with the heat, but overall spacious rooms. Not very well insulated as you can hear people above speaking and walking.

The hotel is fantastic. It is on a quiet, safe street about a 10 minute walk from the plaza. The staff speaks English and was always available to help with anything we needed. The hotel atmosphere is wonderful and buffet breakfast features omelettes to order and barista coffee. We got a room with a sitting room and bathroom on the first floor and a sleeping loft on the second. My only complaint is that wifi would not work in our room. Overall I highly recommend the hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Ok to stay

The property doesn’t have air conditioner. The heating is centralized and is turned on only for couple of hours during night time. Very inconvenient when it’s rain and cold outside. Plumbing issues is a big problem. Water stays in shower tub. Take time for water to warm up in the morning. Internet service is very slow. Breakfast is OK. They also have hot and cold water and tea supplies all the time. Can provide you some snacks for early excursions. Location is not excellent but good, close enough to attractions.

I was really looking forward to my stay at Tambo Del Arriero, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The hotel itself is charming, and the rooms are comfortable, but my experience was ruined by excessive noise from the neighboring room. The kids and parents were extremely loud, making it impossible to rest. I brought this issue to the hotel staff, but nothing was done to address it. A good night’s sleep is essential, especially in a city like Cusco where early mornings and long excursions are common. Sadly, the lack of action from the hotel made my stay frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a peaceful and restful stay.

Beautiful place to stay, conveniently located 10 minutes from Plaza de Armas on a small, one way street. Beds were on the firmer side if that’s what you like. Excellent place...clean, beautifully decorated with a cozy courtyard,very friendly staff, close to plaza and restaurants and breakfast was good. The beds were big but maybe was spring mattress type so it was not the most comfortable. Other than that, our family enjoyed our stay here. The front desk can arrange tours with Nilton which was reasonably priced. Front desk also provided us with to go breakfast for early morning tours. Overall, our family enjoyed the stay and I would comeback.

Our stay was wonderful, we stayed here for our honeymoon and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Tambo was so conveniently located and the junior suite was perfect for my husband and I. The service is what took it to the next level. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful, we had some late night pizza that became cold once we had walked back to our room and the staff was so kind and warmed it up for us. The outdoor space is so adorable and relaxing. Quiet and away from the traffic but also close enough to get around to cute restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend and will be returning with family next time in Cusco.
