Google stated Awaken as 5 star hotel. This is not the case when compared this with true 5 star hotel internationally. At most it is a 4 star. I don’t know how Expedia claims the same 5 star rating. Disappointed. For example, the check out process involves a waiting period of 10 minutes for a maid the check for any property damage and food/beverage consumption.

The hotel is located in a great area with lots of spas and easy access to restaurants, shopping and nearby towns for sightseeing. The rooms have great views and are also very clean and have everything you may need. The mini bar is great with great prices and the spa offers a wide range of sessions. The breakfast is good with many Vietnamese and foreign options leaving you to choose from every morning. We couldn’t use the pool due to bad weather but the gym was a great option instead.

Pleasant stay

Nice hotel facing the ocean view. The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool and its view were amazing, but it was cold to swim in February. Breakfast has good collection of local and international foods. Hotel walking distance to beach.
