We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms are massive and well furnished with really comfy beds. The pool area is lovely although the pool itself was a bit chilly in January! The staff were friendly and polite. The surroundings are beautiful, with free bikes you can take into the paddy fields or into town. The location was perfect for us, it was about 20 minutes to walk into the town or a very cheap grab. There is also a shuttle that takes you and brings you back from the old town as well as the beach. I had seen a few reviews about the noise from the road but our room looked out onto this and the noise was minimal in our opinion. Breakfast was good, with a good buffet and fresh egg station.

Once at the hotel the service was good but the communication before check-in was not (barely audible phone, English was not great and not a quick response to my emails which could have made up for the second part)
