Welcome to Anchors Away – Your Perfect Lakefront Getaway!

Escape to Anchors Away, a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath lakefront retreat, ideal for family fun and relaxation. The main-level master suite offers convenience, while two additional bedrooms upstairs provide plenty of space for guests. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need, and the propane grill on the deck is perfect for cookouts with a view.

Enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor games, plus two kayaks included with your stay. The storage shed is stocked with extra chairs and floats for lakeside fun. Our flat lot ensures easy access to the water—no stairs required! Gather around the firepit for hotdogs and s’mores under the stars (firewood not included).

The private dock is perfect for tying up your boat or jet skis, and there’s ample boat trailer parking—just be sure to keep vehicles on the stone-covered areas and driveway (no parking on the grass). If you need a rental, Momentum Marine is nearby.
Just 35 minutes from Jordan-Hare Stadium, this is the perfect Auburn game day rental. Whether you're here to cheer on your team, relax by the water, or enjoy lake adventures, Anchors Away is ready to welcome you!

Important Notes:

We are located on the east side of the Hwy 49 bridge. Some boats may not fit under the bridge—please check with us for details.
We have a boat ramp, but it is very narrow. We recommend launching only jet skis from our ramp.
Seasonal Water Levels: Starting mid-October, the lake level drops 6 feet, shifting the shoreline from the seawall to the end of the floating dock. The water begins rising mid-February and reaches near full levels by early April.

Very nice cozy home on the water. Decent view of sunset. Don’t expect to use boat launch for larger boat. Also if you have a wake boat or really anything other than a bass boat you will not be able to go under bridge nearby.

Perfect for our visit!

We stayed at this lovely lake house to attend an Auburn football game. The host was great with communication especially when we were traveling during a hurricane and were worried about conditions (all was well;). It was about a30-35 minute drive into Auburn.

Labor Day Weekend and AU game day rental

Excellent location for September getaway. Easy 30 min trip to Auburn, and super close to city of Dadeville. This home had everything we needed. The kayaks were a big hit, and the ping pong table was a lot of fun, too. Our family loved the porch overlooking the lake, and truly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was that the comforter in the master bedroom was stained, and the comforter and sheets in the single bedroom upstairs need replacing.

STAY HERE!!!

We just returned from our stay at Anchor's Away to celebrate Auburn's graduation! This is by far the best home we have every rented. It was meticulously clean, perfectly appointed, and the hosts showed great attention to detail! From the welcome snack basket, to the extras that we forgot to pack, I felt like I had entered my own home for the weekend! We had a wonderful time hanging out on the dock, swimming in the lake, using the kayaks, and enjoying meals on the porch. Furniture was super comfortable and clean and the sunsets were AMAZING! This rental is a winner! Thanks for a wonderful time to celebrate our graduate and War Eagle!

Weekend Trip with family and their friends

The house is great and appears to be recently remodeled. Decks were comfortable for watching the sunset and eating outside. Dock was perfect for tying up boat and still having room for the boys to fish. We had everything we needed and they even had an extra tank for the grill. We didn’t use the fire pit but we’ll save that for next time. House was very clean and the ping pong table kept calling our very competitive boys. Kayaks and yard games were plentiful. Very close to nearby restaurants if you don’t want to cook and we rented a boat from Momentum Marine which was directly across the lake from the house. We enjoyed this home very much and hope to have another opportunity to visit soon!

Perfect Spot Close to Auburn

We really enjoyed our stay at Anchors Away. The house is so well appointed. Updated and with all the little details taken care of. Loved being able to look at the water and our family took advantage of all the yard games, pool table and outdoor fireplace (the host even left smores fixings 😋. We would not hesitate to stay again!

No Hassle - lots of ammenities

May have been seasonal but there were tens of thousands of bugs flying into every light of the house which kept us indoors more than we had anticipated. Clean with decent renovations for more cover and outdoor space. Lots of fun games for the waterfront and plenty of cookware and dinnerware. Slept five adults very comfortably.

We had a great stay on the lake for Auburn’s Spring Graduation 2023! The house is clean, well decorated, and we took advantage of the fire pit, & more than one of the games- inside and out!
