The room was really small (although I was expecting that) but it was good for an overnight stay and really worth it for access to the lagoon pool which I'd been wanting to go to for ages since it opened.
Couldn't believe how expansive and well laid out the property is. Pool wonderful! Splash kitchen beautiful. Darren (airport extractions at 1am particularly helpful) staff at that time were welcoming and humorous even when I acted as a "tryhard"! Will definitely stay again or promote to my friends.
Nice place to stay for a night or two if you are connecting flights. Hotel has a 2 restautrants for food. Staff are helpful and frieendly. Hotel do provide free shuttle to the airport.
Walking distance from the airport, however I did find it hard to get to as the signage was very limited. Good place to stay when your flight arrives either late at night or early in the morning.
How would you feel if you drove more than three hours after a heavy 8 hour shift so you could wake up refreshed and catch a 6 AM flight only to be woken up after 2 hours by horrendous loud plumbing noises
This is a 3 in 1 hotel complex, merged Novotel, Mercure and Ibis properties, close to Darwin International Airport. Two roundabouts so may take a few runs to get used to accessing hotel carpark, which is part of airport carparking. Inhouse dining or can drive to Casuarina Shopping Centre or Darwin CBD for various dining options.Makes returning rental car very easy.
Construction made it so noisy. Staff were rude. I couldn’t turn the bathroom light off properly. Bathroom door broken. Staff are always so unhelpful and rude. The rooms are so tiny for the price. It’s such and place to stay. Pool beds are reserved by large groups with multiple towels early in the day and not monitored by staff so it is impossible to sit by the pool. There is also no reception in the rooms (ibis). Staff couldn’t care less. Very unhelpful.

Faulty smoke alarms in the building went off in the afternoon amd were "Fixed" then proceeded to go off again just before 1 am and would not stop
had to move rooms / buildings for the remaining hours of the night in the middle of the night while the alarms continued for hours

Checkin was extremely slow. The map they gave me to my room was wrong. All the shower product containers were broken. I couldn’t turn the lights off properly and there was so much noise from different machines like walk waybaircon etc constantly. Room was tiny. Kettle didn’t work. Waste of $180
Staff and facilities very good however the room itself is designed for solo workers

Great stay right next to the Airport. Room was small but perfect for an over night stay before the flight. Free transport to the airport.
Only downside was google maps needs updating. It took us to a very shady area that was no where near the hotel.
A/c was great in the bedroom. We slept well and it was very hot outside. Pools were great fun and plenty of sun beds. Bar next to pool served food which was ok.
Check in is not well explained beforehand. One reception desk for 4 different hotels. Clever concept but mighty confusing if you are just off a long flight or like us a very long car ride in the heat ( 41°)
Once we did figure it out, with the help of some helpful members of staff, the bedroom was tiny. 2 adults, 2 suitcases and hand luggage. You really do need more floor space in this day and age.
