The market town of Daventry rests betwixt the border of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire and is home to stunning 17th and 19th-century buildings which are a conservation area. Bustling street markets can be found on a Tuesday and Friday and contemporary shopping can be discovered at the precinct adjacent to the high street. Daventry boasts a riveting history, with the Borough Hill dominating the East side of the town, where prehistorical artifacts have been found such as two Bronze Age barrows and two Iron Age hill forts.
